Very disappointing. 4 stars? Intended to be luxurious but without achieving the objective. Certainly not worth the asking price!

I haven't been there since 2019, but my family and I stayed there twice and it was perfect for a luxurious vacation where we didn't do anything. I liked it so much that I remember staying for consecutive nights the second time. The breakfast that was served one plate at a time and you could eat as much as you wanted was the best.It was a memorable trip, with a family of monkeys outside, an empty pool, and a wonderful library.

I found this while searching for travel with dogs. Stay at a cottage where dogs can stay. Dogs are not allowed in the main building, so we only stopped by the main building to check in and check out. Most of the cottages had cages and other items for the dog to stay with. The dog towel was fluffier than the one I brought with me (lol)The cottage has a loft to keep the kids excited⤴️Due to the settings, I was only able to choose a plan without meals, which was a shame since the restaurant seems to have a good reputation, but it's basically a facility for adult couples. The environment was wonderful as expected. You can take a walk through the large garden with a stream running through it and step out into a private area on the shore of Lake Biwa. I learned that Lake Biwa is so fantastic and beautiful. It was spring with a light rain, but there were cherry blossoms along the lakeshore, so it would be truly beautiful when they bloomed.

After a two-hour train ride from Ashiya, we arrived at a peaceful oasis of peace. Fresh air, the embrace of silence. Heart-warming hospitality.
