Available by same-day reservation from within TokyoFor better or worse, the interior resembles a friend's house from the early Heisei era, and it bothers me when people ask me if it feels clean.I didn't know much about the cooking as I was staying without meals, but I thought the quality of the spring water in the observation bath was not bad.And I don't know if it bothers everyone, but personally, the leaning of the building bothers me.The front desk, the stairs to the second floor, the observation bath, the unit bath in the guest room...I felt that everything was leaning toward the bottom of the cliff.I don't think it's possible for people to be concerned about this. Also, it's good that the room locks automatically, but if you enter your key and are locked out, you may not be able to return late at night because the manager can't find you, so keep it close to you even when you use the shared refrigerator in the hallway. don't forget thingsI get the impression that there are some time-killing elements such as manga, DVDs, TV games, and board games next to the front desk.If you're looking for a cheap accommodation and can book for around 7,000 yen or less, I think you'll be fine.I don't mind if I'm alone, but if someone asks me if I want to come with friends, it might be difficult.

When I arrived at the hotel, it was so old and dirty that I thought it was a haunted house. When you enter the front desk, you'll find posters of mysterious figures and anime all plastered all over the place, making it a cluttered place. The guest rooms are tilted, the air freshener in the toilet is too strong, and the interior is ugly. There is no sense of cleanliness and there is an unpleasant smell.I got the impression that I was going to stay at the house of an old otaku guy. . . .I think this is a hotel that will divide those who are a good fit for it and those who are not a good fit for it, so I have written a harsh statement asking you to choose a hotel so that you will not regret it.This is not recommended for those who are concerned about the above.I think many people will be able to spend their time more comfortably if we remove all the unique otaku-ji world explosions and keep it simple and give it a clean look. Although there are some good elements, the hotel's mysterious claims are too strong and it's a waste.

The building is old, but it's quiet at night and you can sleep well. There are no restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance, so if you are staying overnight without meals, you should buy some food.

At this price point, I think it's a good value as the room has a private bathroom with a toilet and an open-air bath, and a colorful breakfast with plenty of fruits and vegetables is included. When you open the entrance, the first thing you see are posters of anime and manga...I don't know if it's because of the owner's hobby or because the guests are kids and manga fans, but I accidentally walked into an ordinary house with children. I was a little confused because I thought it might have been lost.To my taste, it looks tacky as an interior design, so I thought it would be better to limit it to kids' rooms. The room was clean and I had a good time, but the window glass in the common area was cracked and there was something that looked like scrap wood on the balcony, which gave me a very negative impression of the hotel.I think the impression would be quite different if the severely deteriorated carpet in the dining room could be replaced, and the styrofoam board used for insulation in the open-air bath, which is a building material, smells of poor quality, so it could be replaced with a special one.The impression of the front desk is not particularly friendly and businesslike.Access from the shores of Lake Ashi is by walking along a gently sloping road, but as a backpacker, it felt good to take a stroll while admiring the spring flowers. If you have a lot of luggage, I think it would be easier to take the road that leads to the parking lot in front of the inn, rather than going up the stairs.Although I wrote some harsh comments, overall it was a comfortable stay.

I checked in at dusk. The first impression is that the staff at the reception desk are very enthusiastic and friendly. The hotel is a bit old but the room is very clean. Compared to most hotels here, this is a place worth experiencing. My mother gave many compliments to the receptionist's service attitude. ありがとうございます😊

It's an old pension, so don't expect it to be clean. The hot spring ♨️ is a sulfur spring with a pH of 3.9, and there are two types of baths: an open-air bath overlooking Lake Ashi and a larger indoor bath. The meal was a Western-style meal that was very satisfying and delicious.

I stayed on the first floor without meals, but I felt that the price, facilities, and services were disproportionate. The maintenance of the grounds and building was found to be inadequate, even for an ordinary household. Carpet deteriorates easily over time. This is the first time I have been greeted by curtains that are not high enough for the window. It was a pity that the windows were dirty despite the location overlooking Lake Ashi. The water quality in the hot springs was good, but the temperature in the indoor bath was so low that it didn't warm my body, and I gave up on the outdoor bath because even though I kept adding water, the temperature didn't drop to the point where I could soak.Tea was available in the common area, but the water in the vending machine was out of stock, so I gave up on using it.If the price was 1/3, the rating would be a little higher.

This time I was taken care of by "Hakone Elegance".This time, I was bothered by public transportation. If you have a carry-on case before leaving Hakone-Yumoto, it will be easier to use the Hakone Carry Service (charges apply) at Hakone-Yumoto Station.I think this is an essential service to visit tourist spots smoothly. This time's inn is about 10 minutes from the nearest Oshiba bus stop, up a narrow slope and homemade stairs. I think it's safe to travel light.Desperately climbing the outside stairsThe entrance lobby has a handmade feel that makes you say, ``I'm home.'' It feels like it was built during the bubble period, and the buildings and equipment are undeniably old. There are some maniacal displays, but you can see the efforts made by the employees to provide hospitality everywhere. The playroom, which is full of handmade touches, is also interesting. The baths that have been talked about through word of mouth include two indoor baths and one open-air bath, all of which can be reserved for private use (a convenient system that allows you to check the usage status with a lamp in the hallway) allows you to enjoy a bath fed by natural hot spring water with a strong sulfur smell. I think this is the best bath.In addition, we were provided with plenty of local vegetables for rice, a mixed fish and meat plan, and a plate with lots of fruit for breakfast, which made us very satisfied. I would like everyone to make a reservation. The conversation with the employees while eating the meal was also a great spice.I think this inn is a very reasonable price for the Hakone area. And the customer service of the employees is also very frank. The laid-back style of customer service really fit me perfectly.I can understand that there are many repeat customers. If you are looking for extremely clean facility management and high-level service, I think it would be a good idea to pay more and choose another ryokan. For me, it was a very satisfying stay for one night and two days.I would like to visit you again next time I come to Hakone.
