Had an overnight stay with my S/O at Hakone Fuura to watch the Super GT 300/500 race at Fuji Speedway the next day. It was very humid and hot that day that we were soaked in our sweat. Arriving at the ryokan was such a respite! The host greeted us and showed us to our room even when we arrived 30 mins early.Our room, Momiji, was exquisite! It was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the traditional feel of it.The highlights of our stay were the meals and the bath. We had dinner and breakfast intricately prepared for us at 6 pm and 8 am respectively. We even had English translations of the dishes prepared on our table. The host was very attentive and he explained each dish we were about to enjoy.We'll definitely come back. Hakone Fuura has easily become our favorite and we can't wait for another wonderful stay, hopefully next time, it will be longer than overnight!

The food was generally delicious, but the main steak was of poor quality and was not cut well, so it was streaky.The room and bathroom are those of a guesthouse.

It was a place I visited with my mom on a mother-daughter trip. Perhaps because it was a remodeled villa, it had a Western feel but also felt Japanese, so it felt unfamiliar yet familiar. Although it feels like an old place, it had a nice atmosphere that blended well with the surrounding atmosphere, and most of all, the employees were very friendly. The hot springs were smaller and older than large hotels or ryokans, but there were not many rooms, so it was nice to be able to use the small bathhouse almost exclusively. And above all, the meals are very well prepared and delicious, and the surrounding atmosphere is nice, so I think it would be good for those who want to eat a delicious meal in a quiet place, sleep well, and enjoy the scenery without thinking about anything else. My mother, who is in her 60s, even said she wanted to come secretly alone as a hideout.

The food and atmosphere were very good and I had a relaxing time. The bath seems to be fed by a hot spring bath, but it is unfortunately small. You can rent it out for private use, but you won't be able to go in whenever you want, so it's recommended if you're not primarily into hot springs.

After arriving at the inn, I thought, ``Huh? I've been here before! ”, I noticed when I used it for the second time. At first I visited with my mother, but it was probably the first time in 10 years?I apologize for the inconvenience, but when I arrived, the front desk was on the second floor, up a rather long flight of stairs from the road. This staircase reminded me of this. When I first came here, I thought that I wouldn't be able to bring my mother here when she got older.For some reason, I had forgotten what kind of inn it was because I had completely forgotten about it, but the moment I entered the restaurant, I suddenly remembered how delicious the food was.The seasoning is really great. It's beautiful, elegant, and in a good way easy to eat, and I think they choose very good ingredients.There wasn't a single thing that I thought wasn't good enough.I'm also curious as to why I can't remember if it was so good, but the bath was the best. The quality of the spring water was really good and my skin was so smooth that I felt comfortable until the morning. Maybe it has been renovated? Although it wasn't very large, the view from the bath was beautiful with lots of greenery.The room was a corner room. Every corner was thoroughly cleaned and I felt very comfortable during my stay.It was so quiet that we were the only guests. When I thought about it, there were several other groups at the restaurant, so I felt that it was a hotel where the noise didn't bother me too much.Why didn't I remember? . . I definitely want to go again 🙌It's a quiet inn located a little inside from the main street.Recommended 🤗
