Rooms were super hot despite aircon during summer. Place was quite stinky especially the lobby and staircase. people just dumped their stuff everywhere despite having lockers and a shelf to put their stuff but I guess that’s on the guests

friendly staffs and very diligent cleaning room ,toilets, floor everyday. ¥3500 weekday ¥4000+(I forget I think is 4500)on weekend.

The worst guesthouse I've ever been to. The population level of the guests is low. Since staying here, I have stopped staying at guesthouses. I've come across white people who casually discriminate against Asians.I was probably mistaken for an Asian from another country, and white people made fun of me in English. At that time, the Japanese staff member next to me told the white person in English, ``She (I) is Japanese,'' and the white person spoke to me in Japanese.No, no.Staff shouldn't tolerate discrimination against non-Japanese Asians, it's disgusting. Thanks to you, I now hate foreigners. I originally dreamed of traveling around the world and went to English conversation classes, but after staying at this guesthouse, I started to dislike talking to foreigners.trauma.I often see foreigners who say they like Japanese culture but hate Japanese people, so there's no point in worrying about that.I didn't like the response from the staff. Is it OK to discriminate against Asians other than Japanese? Is that a guest house? Impossible.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in Japan. Vibe that they managed to create in common areas is unique. Beds are pretty comfortable for hostel, bathrooms could be a bit cleaner, you also have kitchen with microwave and last but not least there is a happy hour everyday between 7-8 pm and you can get free beer.

Excellent hostel with a great team and good communal spaces. Every effort has been made to make this hostel social, clean and comfortable. Extended my stay multiple times. Big thanks to everyone working at the hostel who made my stay very pleasant

Fantastic choice for travellers in Tokyo with many opportunities to meet and talk to locals who want to speak English, as well as a great social scene.

This is the dirtiest I have stayed at in Japan. It’s shocking. The showers, sinks and hallway are disgusting. There is mold everywhere. Also, the showers are only on the second floor and all the dormrooms are on the other floors. So you have to walk through the dirty hallways everytime, where everyone wears their sneakers. Guests also wear shoes in the dormrooms! It’s because there are no shoeracks to prevent this, which I have seen in every other hostel in Japan. The kitchen downstairs and common room are super messy. Do they even clean? The people staying at the hostel are mostly young backpackers and they don’t seem to make an effort in keeping the place clean either (because it’s already dirty). The common area downstairs is way too small for the amount of people staying at the hostel. There is a tiny working space on the 2nd floor with 4 chairs, but honestly it’s full when two people are in there. The only good thing in the dormsrooms is that they have lockers for safekeeping. The staff is very nice and helpful to accomodate us. If you are looking for a hostel with social vibe and meeting others and dont care about cleanliness, this is a good place. But if you want to stay somewhere clean and enjoy a spacious, clean common area than do not stay here.

I stayed here for 8 nights upon my first ever arrival in Tokyo, Japan and enjoyed my stay.The location of this hostel is absolutely perfect because you are not IN the busy areas of Tokyo, but one of the four stations that surround this hostel will get you there.I booked a 6 person mix dorm for my entire stay and the first night was beautiful. The 3 after that someone in my room was causing the earthquakes in Tokyo with his "healed but broken nose issue". Due to this extremely penetrating noise, even with 3M earplugs, reception did everything in their power to change me to a female dorm. I wasn't expecting them to be able to relocate me due to them being fully booked. They truly try everything in their power to make the guests happy.The two rooms I stayed in were clean enough, the bed linen was fresh and both rooms had an option to open the windows for ventilation. The beds come with a light and plug and have curtains all around to secure your personal space.They also have a locker per bed to put your stuff in and that comes with a key. Inside that locker you get slippers that you can use upon your stay there. The bedrooms are opened with an electronic card reader.The hostel has a rooftop to hang laundry, smoke or relax. They have separate bathrooms, a working area and a little prayer room. There are functioning washing machines and dryers available if needed for 300yen too.Social wise I would say this hostel is an in between hostel in comparison to others. It's not a party hostel, nor a very quiet one. They organize many events, but you do get the feeling that the staff and the people who attend are quite a group/clique. So if you're an introvert you might find it quite hard to connect to people. Yet, if you do try, you'll be able to meet some people who you can hang with. I noticed during my stay the majority of the guests were either late teens/early twenties or late thirties- and way above.The showers are on the second floor so you'll always have to pack what you need and walk down in order to use that. I do prefer the shower amenities on the same floor, yet it is what it is. The showers were kept extremely clean, however only 2 showers were operating when I was there. The shower is equipped with shampoo, conditioner and bath soup. They also have a dryer and tissues available in the area outside the bathroom.There is a make-up/ getting ready area on every floor. So no need to go down to get ready, only for showers.This hostel felt like a good start for my trip to Tokyo.

Lovely place with a helpful staff. Great atmosphere and places to see and eat at.
