[Caution]Existence warm smell insect. An inn with no need for permanent residence.【Note】There is an outbreak of bed bugs. You should not stay at this hotel.[information]There is a bedbug infestation. You should never stay at this inn.[advertencia]Hay chinches present.Nunca te quedes en esta posada.[Important] The owner of this vacation rental is not at the hotel at all. There is a huge cell phone number posted in front of the inn for check-in.Guests call there, but the owner doesn't answer right away. You will have to wait for tens of minutes on the street. Also, since it is just a private house, there is no security. It's not like it was there. The owner lives about 3 kilometers away.If something happens, I'm not in a situation where I can call and have someone come right away.In short, the room is ready, so you (the guest) can do the rest.Feeling. (However, you are the only one staying at this inn.) I will never stay there again.Furthermore, according to the Kyoto City ordinance, the manager of a private lodgingWhen a problem occurs, you can move to a private lodging within 10 minutes.I have to be in a position where I can rush.I think this hotel violates the regulations. There is no staff at the hotel, just a cell phone number.Even if you call, it is out of the question because it will take 10 to 20 minutes before you can get through (because the call will be called back and not immediately). The owner lives in an apartment many kilometers away, so the 10 minute requirement is not met at all.The other day, I saw him talking friendly with guests in Chinese at a store.Maybe the owner is Chinese.I wonder if they understand the Japanese rules.

It was an accommodation booked through Airbnb. Because it was peak fall foliage season, nearby hotels were very expensive, but this accommodation was relatively cheap. The accommodation is small and located about a 14-minute walk from the station. If you don't have a lot of luggage, accessibility is good and Nijo Castle and Kyoto Koen are close by.There were also delicious local restaurants nearby and the neighborhood atmosphere was nice. There are accommodations up to the 3rd floor. The stairs to the 3rd floor accommodation are quite steep and narrow, so if you have heavy luggage, it may take a lot of effort. And the inside of the room wasn't bad, but it was a bit dusty and humid, so it smelled like mold.Especially when heating with an air conditioner, it gets a bit harsh. It doesn't matter when you don't use it, but if you go in cold weather, you have to turn it on, so the smell may be a bit difficult. Also, I found out later that there might be bed bugs. I'm not sure because I didn't check it directly at the accommodation, but when I returned to Korea, I went to the hospital to see if it was an allergic reaction or a bug bite, and the doctor said they suspected it was a bedbug bite. It's a place where a lot of foreigners stay, and it's not a 3-5 star hotel, so I think it's not a bad place to stay if you're willing to tolerate those things to some extent, but I think it's better not to go there for the time being because there's a high possibility of empty loans.

The overall facilities are great and well-equipped. However, the beds in the triple room are two extra-large single beds. Two of them need to be squeezed in, but they still slept well. Remember to make sure you have a way to contact the landlord before checking in. It is best to have a mobile phone with a phone number, or go to a public phone nearby (we went to a nearby hospital to call). There is also a supermarket nearby that our group considers to be the best in the entire trip, so we can go shopping there.

The B&B is very close to Nijo Castle, a famous scenic spot in Kyoto. I walked there as soon as I woke up in the morning, which was very relaxing. There is a large supermarket diagonally across the road, which is very convenient for shopping.Lawson and 711 convenience stores are both about 3 minutes’ walk away, so they’re not too close.Walk east from the B&B for about 10 minutes and you will reach the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The B&B is small and exquisite. When the lights are turned on at night, the warm yellow lights in front of the door make it warm and welcoming. The room was very clean, and the store prepared free ice mineral water, which was most convenient to carry in your bag when traveling the next day.Behind the window of the room on the first floor is a small garden, small but elegant. On an autumn afternoon, sitting with friends and surrounded by bamboos is indescribably comfortable.Don’t you, like me, like this kind of Kyoto?
