This place was going to be the highlight of our trip, but it turned out to be nothing but disappointment. The location is great, but that’s the only upside.Cleanliness is 0 out of 5. When we checked in, we noticed a hair ball on the shower wall. The person who checked us in apologized and gave the hair ball a photoshoot. Based on that I assumed we would hear from them afterwards. Turned out that was wishful thinking. The house was so dusty that you could see a coat of dust on surfaces when the sun hit at an angle. The outdoor tub was lovely, but don’t expect full privacy because the apartment building right behind the house has a partial aerial view from the hallway which had lots of foot traffic. If it weren’t for the location, this would’ve been a 0 star.

The property is excellent and nothing to complain. But one thing to complain with Trip.com. As the property is a stand-alone house with no reception. …

It's in a great location right next to Yasaka Tower, so you can walk to many places and see the sights. The inn's open-air bath has a great atmosphere. The staircase has become a spiral staircase, and the townhouse has been renovated in a modern style. It was very quiet at night and the bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep.

Anyway, it was a great location. Staying at an inn in a traditional townscape felt like staying in a theme park, so I was excited. It's located at the back of the path next to Yasaka Tower, so it's quiet and away from the busy roads. It was great to see Yasaka Tower from the window of the Japanese-style room on the second floor. I filled up the impressive open-air bath with plenty of hot water and soaked in it, just like the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands. It's surprisingly spacious, so even two people can fit inside. I plan on trying the bread breakfast next time, which I couldn't make a reservation for this time.
