Although the facility is old, it didn't bother me too much, and I was given a good explanation of the renovations being made in preparation for the reopening. The only thing I was concerned about was the way one male restaurant staff member spoke, which is appropriate for a customer service industry. It was so arrogant I thought.

It was an old hotel overall, but several areas were being renovated, so I was looking forward to it. Personally, I eat all meals (morning and dinner). I was very satisfied with the all-you-can-drink option.

The building is old.Parking is also difficult to find.It seems that people who arrive on the buffet choose their meal time. If you have children, please arrive early or it will be late.The room cannot be called clean.The toilet was smelly.I was glad that I could see the fireworks from my room.The air conditioner was so loud that I couldn't sleep.It wasn't a bad hotel, but it couldn't be called a premium hotel.

I used it on a solo bike trip the other day.I felt that the room and the building as a whole were clean, but I thought it was a bit hectic with the workers walking around the building, perhaps because it was under renovation.The tiles in the public bath are tatami mats, which provide a solid footing and help prevent falls. The public bath was beautiful, but there were spider webs on the ceiling of the open-air bath, which was a shame.Meals are buffet-style for both dinner and breakfast, with lots of ingredients. At night, we enjoyed the trendy bamboo steamer, and in the morning, we enjoyed a delicious meal with seafood rice bowl.The staff both at the front desk and in the cafeteria were smiling and chatting clearly when I had questions, which gave me a good impression.One person was shown a large room. The futon was already drawn, all the curtains were closed, and there was no tea or sweets, just packaged tea.I think it's difficult for Nakai-san to do all kinds of things like in the past. I feel like it changes with the times. Is it difficult to provide hospitality like in the past due to cost and staff reductions?However, I am both disappointed and happy because the price is set accordingly. This time, I used a certain app for 1 night and 2 days and it cost 10,350 yen (tax included).It may not be suitable for those who are looking for excessive hospitality as the service is tailored to the price.The price is just right for me, so I would like to use it again next time.

I've been to many Yukai Resorts, but they were all so bad that I usually don't write reviews, but I decided to write one this time.The restroom near the restaurant was very dirty.It can't be helped that there is only one Western-style house because it hasn't been renovated, but the water flow is weak and almost all of it isn't flowing.I went 3 times and it was the same every time.In the end, I could see a cockroach running towards me, and I screamed and ran away.I feel nauseous in a toilet where I can see other people's feces and urine.Not to mention it's next to a restaurant.Couldn't we make it easier to understand when the lever is pressed for a longer time, or do more regular inspections?I stayed in a room with an open-air bath on the first floor,On the veranda where the open-air bath is located, the grass can be seen through the gaps between the floorboards, and the water can just flow away.I had been told that I couldn't use shampoo etc. to protect the environment, but this was my first time and I was surprised.Perhaps because it is so close to nature, there are a lot of insects, and newts have also invaded the balcony, so those who don't like newts should be careful when going out on the balcony.The only good thing about it was that it was during the fireworks season, and I could see the fireworks from the balcony.It was nice to have a large public bath and hot spring bath, but the floor was tatami rather than tile or rock-like. Used in summer. It's nice to be able to see the Katayamazu Onsen fireworks from my room, but I don't see any other benefits.The open-air bath is a space with no windows, just partitioned by glass. Moreover, you can probably see it completely from the road in front of you.There is no air conditioning in the hallways or elevators, so it's extremely hot.The only thing in the room is green tea.There are many mistakes at the front desk. There was a mistake in how they treated me when I checked in, and the couple next door who were trying to rent a bicycle were also having some trouble.On the way back, when I was lining up to check out, the customer in front of me started arguing with the front desk, so I had to wait quite a while. Basically, the way the people at the front desk speak is from above, which makes me uncomfortable. Moreover, it turned out to be a mistake on the hotel's part. Still, I laughed because he didn't apologize.For breakfast, the French toast wasn't ready in time at all, and as I was waiting for it to be cooked, I was told to wait at my seat because they would ring the bell, and as soon as the bell rang, it was gone. I went there with low expectations because other people's reviews weren't very good, but the room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious (15 tatami mats, about 7.5 tatami mats) and clean.The bath was nice, but unfortunately there were a lot of spider webs outside the window.For dinner, we made cotton candy, which the kids loved.

My family of 5 (2 adults, 2 elementary school students, and 1 kindergarten student) stayed here during the Obon holiday.It was fully booked during the Obon season, but on the other hand, there was a room available that only accommodated 5 or more people, so I managed to get a reservation a week in advance. The room was on the top floor and was quite spacious, so the children were very happy.It faced the lake, so the view was great.When I just stayed there, there was an event where fireworks were set off from the lake every day, so I was very satisfied.The staff were polite, especially the Viking staff, who were very kind and made me feel comfortable.It was interesting to see the guy who was frying tempura talking to the kids in a friendly manner. lolNeedless to say, there was a large hot spring bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna, which was great.My schedule was to check in at 3:00 PM and then go to the pool with my kids (only in summer) until 5:00 PM, so we played for 2 hours. After that, we took a hot spring bath and went out for a night buffet at 7:30pm. Surprisingly, when you have kids, you're so busy that time passes quickly. And the fireworks started at 9pm, just as we finished eating, so it turned out to be a pretty good schedule.On the second day, we checked out at 12:00 and went to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, which we had booked for at 1:30 p.m.It takes about an hour to get there from the hotel, so if you're heading back to Osaka, it might be a good idea to stop by.I gave the room one less star because there were a lot of small insects (maybe it can't be helped in the summer?) and there were stains on the walls in some places, so I gave it one less star. But overall I was very satisfied.

It was the worst. It's been a long time since I last went on a family trip, but the room was dirty, the public bath was dirty, there were bugs, and it wasn't kept clean at all. When I entered the room for the first time, the futon was already drawn and the curtains were closed, so I couldn't rest and there was no hospitality. I was disappointed that the only amenities were toothbrushes.The price was very high and the service was not up to par with the service, which was the worst even though I came to Katayamazu.

I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days.The room and food were very good.The large public bath had tatami flooring, and the shower could be started with just one push, which was nice, but there were a lot of spider webs in the open-air bath, making the resort a little uncomfortable.

Stayed at Tennokaku in late July 2024.When I turned on the faucet in the bathroom, the water was cloudy.Not a problem as an accommodation facility.I have reported it to the front desk and have given permission to post the image anywhere.What is "Premier"?

The customer service of the staff at the front desk was not very nice and seemed to be a bit chaotic. The view, food, and pool itself were nice, but unfortunately the air conditioner button was broken. The pillow was hard and too high, so I had a hard time sleeping.
