I couldn't sleep at all because of the pain from the pocket coil.Next, as soon as I entered the room, the smell of cigarettes was amazing!It was so bad that my husband, who is a smoker, said it was bad.Indeed, as the reviews said, it was very old and everything was falling apart.There is a TV, kettle, microwave, and refrigerator.There were 2 dryers.There was a large mirror, and my daughter didn't like it, so I hung up some loungewear to hide it. There was also a full-length mirror in the hallway.It may have been possible to turn it on, but it was dark because only the small lights (brown) in the hallway and on the table could be turned on, so please be careful if you want to have a bright night (white).There were amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, but there were no amenities such as cleansing or lotion, so women must bring their own.My husband seemed to like the breakfast included, but he doesn't seem to have breakfast.But there are convenience stores and shops like Matsuya nearby, so it's not a problem.I had something to do at Gion Arena and used it, but it was about a 15 minute drive so it was nice to be close.The hotel's parking lot has height restrictions, but since the Alphard was parked there, I think you can park there unless you lift it up.I've previously stayed at other hotels where the lights turn on when you insert your room key, but is there a separate air conditioner at this hotel? Once I checked in, I turned on the air conditioner, went out to eat, and when I came back, it was nice and cool!By the time I started making reservations, all the hotels near Gion Arena were already full, and the ones that were open were expensive, so I was lucky to be able to stay at a cheap price of 21,787 yen for two single rooms.I'm just using it for sleeping, so as long as it's cheap, there's no problem.However, I was disappointed that the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

It was close to the station, there was a parking lot, and the room was clean.Although it was a plan without meals, there were convenience stores and restaurants nearby so there was no problem.

As expected, this made things a lot better. Is this a common commercial air conditioner for the entire floor? I don't think the inside of the car has been cleaned in decades.Anyway, everything is really dirty. It was dirty and worn out. It takes courage to take a bath. There was a washlet in the toilet, but it didn't work when I pressed the button. This is my first time in a hotel like this. It's not Showa at all. Japan in the Showa era was so rich that something like this would never have happened.The coin laundry is on the 3rd floor. I thought I was lucky because the dryer cost 100 yen and took 30 minutes, but even after I ran it for 30 minutes, it was still half dry, so I had no choice but to put in another 100 yen and wait even longer. The half-dried condition was exactly the same as before. I gave up after realizing that the filter was completely clogged due to lack of maintenance, and no matter how many times I turned it, it was still the same. I just wasted 60 minutes. If I left my laundry half-dried in that room, it would get contaminated, so even though I was tired and exhausted, I walked a little further to find a laundromat that was open late at night. There's no place to rest. At this rate, I thought it was probably the washing machine, so I redid all the washing and drying. It was 3 o'clock when I finally got back to this filthy hotel and slept.The location is not bad as it is near the station. Many of the passengers riding in the elevator were foreigners, and it appeared that they were making money by specializing in sightseeing for poor tourists. I thought it was because the front desk staff were foreigners who could speak Japanese to help deal with inbound tourists, but I later changed my mind and thought that it might be a way to deal with complaints from Japanese people (which is hard to say strongly to foreign workers). Or maybe it's just because they work for low wages.No matter how old the building or equipment is, there should be something that can be done about it, but the management just doesn't have the will. There's no point in trying to get repeat customers if they're not going to come back, whether they're satisfied or not. There is no motivation to improve. If you outsource it to a business and create a review site, you'll get as many first-time customers as you want, and it would be foolish to go out of your way to shore up your cash cow. I can agree that this is the correct business decision. It's all capitalism's fault.

I thought it can't be helped because it's cheap, but it's dirtier than I imagined 💢 I hope you don't give up on staying in a hotel and the room is dirty 💢 Cleaning can be done with zero investment in equipment ❓

Smelly, dirty, disgusting and badly maintained. Feels like a hotel in Mumbai or New Delhi. Doesn’t come close to Japanese standards. I don’t know how they maintain their licence.
