Toyoko Inn Kanazawa Kenrokuen Korinbo is a business hotel located in the Korinbo area in the center of Kanazawa City. It's in a great location, about 10 minutes by car from Kanazawa Station, and a 5-minute walk from Kanazawa's tourist attractions, Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen. A free shuttle bus also runs from Kanazawa Station.Toyoko Inn is one of Japan's largest hotel chains with 340 stores in Japan and 15 overseas. The brand concept is to be a base hotel for a nationwide network, and the hotel has hotels in 46 prefectures nationwide, excluding Kochi Prefecture. (Scheduled to open in Kochi Prefecture in spring 2026, opening stores in all 47 prefectures)In Ishikawa Prefecture, there are ``Toyoko Inn Kanazawa Kenrokuen Korinbo'' and ``Toyoko Inn Kanazawa Eki Higashiguchi'' near Kanazawa Station, with two stores in the prefecture.Unlike destination hotels, where staying at an inn such as a hot spring inn or resort hotel is the purpose of the trip in itself, business hotel users' purposes are outside the hotel, such as business trips, trips, and events. From this perspective, Toyoko Inn does not have any additional facilities such as a public bath, restaurant, or bar within the hotel, and instead focuses on providing simple, clean rooms at a low price. This Toyoko Inn Kenrokuen Korinbo opened in October 2007 after moving the Toyoko Inn Kanazawa Korinbo, which opened in 2000, to the site of the former Mizuho Bank Kanazawa Chuo Branch. It has 11 floors and has 422 guest rooms, making it a relatively large store among Toyoko Inn, which has many hotels with 100 to 200 rooms.Approximately 1 minute walk from the "Korinbo" bus stop for route buses and tour buses. There is also a free shuttle bus that runs directly between Kanazawa Station and the hotel, departing from Kanazawa Station every 30 minutes from 15:30 to 21:00, and departing from the hotel every 20 minutes from 6:40 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. I am doing it. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes from the hotel to the station. There is a vending machine in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel that sells soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and simple snacks (nuts). Toyoko Inn's motto is that the only thing they charge from customers is the accommodation fee, and they don't charge extra for other products in the hotel, and the drinks in the vending machines are about the same price, or even cheaper, than in supermarkets and convenience stores. It is sold inIn fact, a can of Kanazawa's local beer ``Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Beer'' was sold for 360 yen in a hotel vending machine, but was sold for 440 yen at a convenience store in front of Kanazawa Station.[Guest room]Single room (non-smoking) available. The building has been open for about 17 years, but every detail has been thoroughly cleaned and the wallpaper has been replaced, giving it a clean feel.A feature of Toyoko Inn's single rooms is that the bed size is 140cm wide. The beds in single rooms in general business hotels are 100cm to 120cm wide, and most hotels set up beds with a width of 140cm as double rooms. It's spacious enough for even large men to turn over with peace of mind. Considering that you spend most of your time in bed during your stay at a business hotel, the spacious bed makes it more comfortable than other hotels in the same price range.*The bed in the double room at Toyoko Inn is a queen size bed with a width of 160 cm.*Toyoko Inn hotels that have opened in the past few years also have single rooms called "Wide Space Singles" with single beds 110cm wide. The bath and toilet are integrated in the unit bath. Shampoo and body soap are provided. The hair dryer is fixed on the desk side. Various amenities such as toothbrushes, soap, shavers, and tea, as well as nightwear (gowns), are provided in the lobby on the first floor, and can be taken to the rooms by self-service.There are outlets on the desk and on the bedside, and a USB power supply port (type A) is also on the bedside, making it convenient to charge your smartphone next to your bed.【Wifi】Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby on the first floor and in the guest rooms. Each room has a different SSID and password, and Wi-Fi connection information is displayed on the home screen of the guest room TV. There is a Wi-Fi communication device behind the TV in the guest room, so you don't have to worry about having trouble getting a signal depending on your location. The communication speed is around 10-20Mbps, which is sufficient for browsing the Internet. There may be some delays during times when there are many guests staying in the hotel and communication is busy, such as late at night or in the morning.【breakfast】Toyoko Inn also offers free breakfast for guests. This hotel has a buffet style, and you can eat it in the lobby on the first floor, or you can put it in a take-out container and take it back to your room. It seems that each hotel serves a local breakfast menu, and here, the lineup includes Kanazawa's famous Kanazawa curry (curry rice) as the main dish, as well as salads, scrambled eggs, crab stick tempura, pickles, natto, miso soup, and soup.Other dishes include rice made with Kaga rice produced in Ishikawa Prefecture, salad made with fresh vegetables produced in Ishikawa Prefecture, Kaga vegetable Gensuke daikon dressing, Ebisu (berobero *toki egg agar-based sauce), a local dish from Ishikawa Prefecture, and Kaga miso. There were local menus made with local ingredients, such as miso soup made with. There is also a dedicated bread oven, which is only available at some Toyoko Inn restaurants, and they also serve freshly baked croissants in-store.

I searched for reviews before staying here. Someone said that they had stayed at many Toyoko Inn hotels, but the breakfast here was the most delicious.I stayed there on September 15th, and the breakfast the next day was amazing!Just add some miso soup and everything will go smoothly! Plenty of drinks too. The best~ Is it komatsuna ohitashi? What should I do with green vegetables on that menu? My boyfriend raved about how delicious it was!The natto was also delicious and came in a package that I had never seen before in Osaka! The guy at the parking lot was also very polite! Thank you (*^^*)
