I love the breakfast here and come from Kansai just to try their croissants. And the owner, Mr. Kent, is always funny and kind. Also, the open-air bath is wonderful. I've been to many places in Hokkaido, but this is my favorite.

Wonderful hospitality , English spoken. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely perfect : for breakfast we had, among other delicacies , the best fresh croissants in all of Japan , baked by a bakery chef from the owner’s family . For dinner they worked around our food restrictions quite beautifully and it was delicious and abundant .Attention to details in everything .The owner is a professional photographer who can set up a photo workshop for the guests . Very friendly atmosphere

The proprietor, Kent, was such a sweetheart during our stay. Immediately on arriving he learned we didn’t have a rental car and offered to drive us to the station the next day. We chatted about his photography and our backgrounds over dinner (which was delicious), and he drove us around to the scenic biei spots the next morning. It was such a fantastic experience! The rooms and onsen are also nice. The fresh baked croissant and melon in the morning were incredible

It’s a very clean and well maintained hotel and most important is the host Kent San who has taken care of us during our stay as well as Takashi San who is in-charge of our meals.Last week, we stayed two nights to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and they have surprised us during dinner with a beautiful cake that made our stay there so unforgettable.During our first night, Kent San shared with us his famous photos taken at the blue pond in different seasons as well as many other spots around Biei where he has taken beautiful photos. He is passionate about his work and very generous to share. Enjoy the evening chatting till late.We did a photo tour with him and learnt where he has shot some of his photos and share some tips on photography at the different locations. It’s highly recommended if you like to shoot. The morning breakfasts were so good with freshly baked croissants (the best I have ever taken) by Takashi San. The salad and milk is so fresh every morning. Missing it already.Highly recommended if you are in Biei area. We will definitely visit them again during our next family if we visit Hokkaido.

Auberge run by world-famous photo artist Kent ShiraishiCelebrities from all over the world visit. By narrowing down the number of guests, we control the quality of service.Accommodation reservations must be made in advance. You can add crabs and other items as an option. The first floor is a restaurant and bar.As an option, you can take a photo tour directly from the owner or take an ultra-high-level photo development lecture.I give lectures according to the customer's level, so I will be honest. The room is a Western-style room with a bathroom, but there is also an open-air bath.It warms up well. Please note that the slope at the entrance to the parking lot is steep only during ice conditions. There are no convenience stores around, so replenish your supplies at a convenience store near Biei Station. We have all the amenities, so you won't have any trouble. The towels and bed are very clean and you can sleep peacefully.I would like to stay here at least once when I come to Hokkaido.

We arrived at 9pm.I came on a rainy day, so it was scary walking at night. If you come, we recommend coming in the morning or afternoon! There are also beautiful fields along the way. There is a hot spring. It's not a bath, it's a hot spring. The food is delicious. Why is French rock salt so common?I was eating melon while drinking apple juice, and the sweetness of melon was a complete winner. It's sweet. happiness. After taking a bath, the owner's award-winning photo of Biei was displayed, and I thought it was amazing. Isn't the small hotel actually the work of the owner? It's a very tasteful and wonderful place.

The owner, Ken, is a photographer, and it's a surprisingly unique pension, but once you go, you won't be able to stop.
