The building is magnificent and you can enjoy the best rooms and the hospitality of the staff. The rooms with their own private hot spring baths are spacious and luxurious, and the spectacular view in front of you makes you imagine that the leaves will be covered in autumn leaves. You can enjoy the same spectacular view from the large open-air bath, and enjoy both the dry and mist saunas.Unfortunately, the food was very bad. Although some of the items were delicious individually, there was no cohesion between Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and the roast beef sauces were all tasteless. The shark fin soup was so thick and mushy that I had to leave behind all the shiitake mushrooms I didn't like, and the seasoned rice at the end was soggy and porridge-like that I couldn't believe it was cooked by a professional. I know the shimewan is elaborate, but it's not good. The restaurant has a lot of Chinese staff, but the service is very good. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was the staff not wearing masks, putting their faces close to the food and explaining everything. The breakfast was like a normal hotel breakfast. It's not at the level of going out to eat like Hakodate Hotel War.

The location is slightly away from where ryokan businesses are concentrated.Still, accessibility isn't that bad.The rooms are very clean and spacious. The friendliness of the staff is also very good.Dinner is served as a course meal, which is rated at 90 points and is of high quality.I don't really like raw fish, but I enjoyed it here.I thought a lot before making the reservation because the price was a bit high, but I am very satisfied.
