In May 2019, I went to Onagawa for the first time in two years, and this time I didn't make a reservation (last time I stayed at a hotel in Ishinomaki City), and I stayed at Stay Inn Suzuya for two nights after being introduced to it at the information center in front of the station. I usually have business or construction-related needs, but what about individual customers? That's what I was told, but the bath was big (the room had a unit bath) and the food was satisfying. It would be a waste not to use it.By the way, the landlady everyone is talking about is beautiful. She is a beautiful woman who looks like Rei Dan. Let's go see Rei Dan in Onagawa.

This inn is located on a hill at the entrance to Onagawa's Cobalt Line. This inn is like a hybrid between a business hotel and a boarding house. The building itself is new, well-maintained, and clean. Most of the users are nuclear power plant and construction workers, and there are also plans for long-term stays. Both washing machines and dryers are available for a fee, but there are two on each floor. However, if you use the dryer only once, it will be half-dry, so you need to run it twice. There is no space to dry laundry in the room.Perhaps because many people use the restaurant for work, the breakfast and dinner meals are hearty. Also, they don't use many frozen foods and are mostly homemade! There is a large public bath, and when I used it around 6 o'clock, it was almost reserved for private use.Although it is located on a hill and the night view is beautiful, you will need to drive along a mountain road with no street lights or sidewalks, so you will need a car. If you are planning on sightseeing by train, it is better to take a taxi. Approximately 1020 yen from Onagawa Station. The staff are friendly and warm-hearted, so I would like to use them again.

It has a nice atmosphere and the building seems to be kept clean. The bathtub was spacious and I was able to stretch my legs. Many of the staff were friendly and I felt at ease even though I was traveling alone. As everyone has said, it is located on a hill, so you can see the wonderful night view of Onagawa Port. There is also a washing machine and dryer available for a fee. It's a small detail, but it's also helpful that the juice from the vending machine isn't expensive. It may be a coincidence, but I noticed the following.・There is no soap for washing hands in the room.・The pillow smelled pretty bad (to the point where I couldn't stand it and slept without using it). .・Dinner on the sightseeing plan has a richly seasoned menu and no chopstick rest. I don't know where to find drinking water...(The staff has gone somewhere so I don't know)・The extension line cannot be connected after 8pm.

The facility and rooms are clean. There is only one pocket tissue in the room, so it is better to bring your own tissue. It may have been a coincidence, but I didn't hear any noise or snoring from the rooms on either side, so I think the soundproofing between the rooms is probably good. However, the noise from the hallway can be heard inside the room.I think it's basically a good facility if you think about it for overnight stays, but there are two things that concern me.① There is no hand soap in the bathroom in the room, so I think it would be better to leave it there.②It seems that bed sheets were not used, so you had to sleep directly on the bed cover, but there were some stains on the bed cover which was quite worrisome. Therefore, I thought it would be better to use bed sheets and wash them after checking out, or to get new ones if the stains get worse.

I stayed here in order to catch the early morning boat from Onagawa to Eshima to see Tohoku after the earthquake. At the end of the year, I asked if I could stay late at night, and they happily agreed. I was planning to walk from the station, but since I didn't have a cloak and it was dark, I was very grateful that they would come to pick me up at the station. Although there were only about 3 guests staying, they prepared the large public bath properly, prepared breakfast at 6am, and drove us to the port, which we were really grateful for. There are no restaurants or shops on the island, so if you don't have breakfast... I was looking for a lot of places to stay, and this was the right choice. I'm planning to go to Mt. Kinka again, so I'd like to use it again then.

I stayed here on my way to Kinkazan Koganeyama Shrine. The landlady was beautiful and very kind and made me feel comfortable ^ ^I made a reservation for a room without meals, and I was very grateful that they kindly told me about nearby restaurants and also allowed me to rent a bicycle.Although it was a bit of a walk from the station, it was an inn that I would like to use again (^^)

I visited you on a memorial trip. During dinner, there happened to be an earthquake of magnitude 4...!!ヽ(゚д゚ヽ)(ノ゚д゚)ノ!!My wife came to the house immediately, and although I was scared, there were other people staying there, so I was glad I wasn't alone at this time. The food was fresh and delicious, and the room and bathroom were clean. Thank you for your help. I'm also thinking of going to the disaster area after five years.
