We had an excellent stay at active Life Yado and enjoyed every moment. He common room is very well designed and we received a warm welcome. We started the first day with sub (stand up paddle) in the ocean, guide by Leo. We also enjoyed seafood at Onagawa as well as take away at the beach close by. It is impressive to see how the local community recovered from the 2011's Tsunami. The Museum in Ishinomaki is definitely worth a visit.

It was a stylish and clean guesthouse. The owner is working on environmental issues, and there are posters in the restrooms and changing rooms that call for environmental awareness. It was a very fulfilling trip as we learned about the thoughts of the people who live in Ishinomaki and carefully told us about recommended spots. Also, when I was looking for a hospital because my insect bites had gotten worse before my stay, they introduced me to a good dermatologist.

I had some business to do in Ishinomaki, so I chose a guesthouse for microtourism. I think the bottom price in Ishinomaki City is around 3,500 to 4,000 for singles (including dorms), although it depends on the time of year and conditions. It was as clean as the picture and the staff were polite and kind.I was impressed with how much care was taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. What is noteworthy is that the inn is run by an environmental activist, so they put a lot of effort into composting and recycling. There was a wide range of activities, including SUP, surfing, canoeing, diving, and hunting. There is a convenience store next door and a well-equipped kitchen, making it ideal for long-term stays and group use.The rooms were divided into east and west sections to accommodate both men and women. If I have to stay in Ishinomaki again, I will use it again.

It is two stops from Ishinomaki Station on the Senseki Line, and about a 10-minute walk from Watanoha Station. The building, which was constructed by Kindai University as a reconstruction aid, has a parking lot on the first floor and living space on the second floor, with each room accessed directly from the outside corridor. I stayed in a dormitory (3-person room), but it was empty, so each person had one room. Access to common areas is via a PIN code. The sofa and dining table are easy to use, and the kitchen and cooking utensils are well-equipped, so I thought it would be suitable for long-term stays with friends. There is a convenience store next door, so there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby, but it's not an inconvenience. There is only one washroom and one shower, so if it's crowded there may be a long wait.

Even though I made a last minute reservation, I was treated with courtesy and kindness! I was able to relax in the large salon, everything was clean and very comfortable. They also have a bicycle rental service, which was a blessing for me as I had to travel far. The nearby Oshika Peninsula is wild and the view of the sea from the top of the mountain is very beautiful, and I was able to breathe in the fresh air and feel refreshed in the mountains. The famous cat island (Tashirojima) is also nearby, so I think it's very convenient for those who want to go there. I am very grateful that I had a wonderful time on this trip. This is an inn that I would love to come back to again, and I recommend it to everyone ☆☆☆

Stayed here while cycling around Japan.A wonderful space. When I told them that I was worried about bicycle theft, the owner, fortunately because there were few guests, left me alone in the dormitory and sorted it out so I could get inside. It is also recommended for solo bicycle travelers.

I spent 4 nights here. It's a clean, stylish space. It seems that the environment is also considered. The owner is from Ishinomaki and has built relationships with people in the Ishinomaki area, so you can experience a variety of things and interact with local people from this location, which is an added value beyond just staying overnight. I felt it. I would like to stay again.

A guest house in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture. It used to be a restaurant and inn called Long Beach. The facility is a two-story building with guest facilities located on the second floor. A spacious lounge and kitchen area in the center. There are rooms on either side of the lounge. The room cannot be accessed from the lounge, but from the outside hallway. The lounge has large windows and an open feel. Although you can't see the ocean, there are ornamental plants and a comfortable and relaxing space.Shower rooms and toilets are separate for men and women. There is also a bathtub. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face wash, and hair dryer are also provided. There is also a rolling roller, so if you are concerned about hair falling on the floor, please roll it.Please be sure to visit when you leave your domain to Ishinomaki.
