I used it several times before becoming Premium, and the buffet menu had oysters and beef tongue, and I felt it was better than other Oedo Onsen Monogatari restaurants. After becoming Premium, the price increases and I can't go.It's a shame because I was able to enjoy the hot springs at Oedo Onsen Monogatari at a more reasonable price than others. Not all adults like alcohol, and it is more expensive for non-drinkers than for those who drink.

I have used it several times before, and this time I went with my family for the first time after becoming platinum. The Japanese-style room is dimly lit and the outside scenery is the road. When you open the curtains, you'll see the road. It's completely visible from the outside, and I can't open the windows because cars are passing by.Even in Western-style rooms, you can hardly see the sea.The rooms are the same as before, especially the Japanese-style room, which makes a creaking noise. The bathroom is the same as before. There were 3 massage machines installed in a small space, and it was always full so we couldn't use them. The amenity towels are thin, unkempt, and look like they have been used. The yukata is also stiff and dry.If I had gone to Platinum, I would have liked to see a little more emphasis on amenities and yukatas. For dinner, the dishes prepared on the spot, such as beef tongue and tempura, are delicious. There are sushi, sashimi, and fruits available, but they are not fresh and not very tasty.Although there are many items, there is not much that can be eaten. It is difficult to understand because there is no written information in English or Chinese. It seemed like they made up for it with performances such as stylish seats and steamer baskets.Drinks and ice cream were located in a small space at the back, so it was hard to find and it was crowded.Same goes for breakfast...The distance between the seats in the lounge and lobby is narrow, so you are close to other customers.Karaoke is free, but the room smelled awful and looked like a ruin.It used to be good because it was cheap, but after going platinum, I thought the quality was terrible at that price.Business hotels are of a higher standard.Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots, is not being fully utilized.I don't want people from outside the prefecture or overseas to think that this is a hotel in Matsushima or a hotel in Japan. If you want to enjoy Miyagi and Matsushima, we recommend other hotels.

On the fourth night of our 6-day Tohoku drive, we traveled from Aomori to Sanriku and stayed in Matsushima for one night. As you would expect from an Oedo Onsen premium hotel, parking in front of the hotel and check-in are smooth, and welcome drinks (alcoholic drinks such as draft beer and white wine, as well as soft drinks and ice lollies) are available. The room is on the third floor of a separate building.Although the guest room was not facing the sea, it was comfortable with a semi-double mattress futon and a wide wooden floor. The dinner and breakfast halls were in separate buildings, so we had to take an elevator, but the food was good and we enjoyed the steaks and beef tongue steaks. The baths were relaxing with a large bath on the sea side and two open-air baths on different levels.

When I checked in, I was told, ``Due to an error in the reservation details, you cannot stay in this room due to fire regulations, so please cancel your reservation on the website and make a new reservation.'' It was my son's 1st birthday. I went on a family trip for the first time in a year to celebrate, so my mind went blank with a sense of despair. It was difficult to understand how to make a reservation for a child when making a reservation from another travel site, so I wrote the child's age in the reservation notes section. There was no confirmation from the inn in advance. I had to pay a cancellation fee, and if I had to make a same-day reservation, it would have cost far more than I had budgeted for, so it was not realistic. In the end, I ended up staying the night, but it turned out to be a confusing trip, wondering if there was anything else I could have done. Also, the room wasn't cleaned properly, and there was spilled food and hair from previous guests on the verandah, and there was a child crawling around, which made me feel uncomfortable. It's a shame. The meal was delicious. It was also nice to have a drink bar. Please be careful if you make a reservation from a site other than the official website.

I was very satisfied with the drink service and the relaxing space. It would be better if there was a little more variety in the dinner buffet menu.
