I stayed for one night during Obon. This is the bed room on the second floor. The cleaning was perfect, and the room itself seemed to have been renovated, so it was very clean and nice☺️The food was very delicious and healthy, just as other people said.I was very satisfied. There is also a communal hot spring nearby so you don't have to worry about it 🙋I would love to stay again! !

It has very good access to all the public baths in Zao Onsen Town, and you can get as many free tickets as you like at the store, so it's a great option to use Zao Onsen as much as you like. The food is delicious and you can eat it in your room. The in-house hot springs are artificial but nice, and the great thing about them is that you can use them for shampoo.*Zao Onsen is strongly acidic, so you cannot use basic soaps. There is a yakiniku restaurant right in front of me, and I would like to eat lunch there next time.OK for one person. It seemed best to make reservations from the official website.

It's near the lower public bath.We stayed during the approaching typhoon, but even in the rain, there are umbrellas available for guests to use, so you can go to the hot springs without any inconvenience. The bath at the inn is not a hot spring, but shampoo etc. are provided so you can wash your head and body. (There is no washing area in the public bath, and the use of shampoo, etc. is not allowed)Above all, the food was very delicious, and I was very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. It's family-run and everyone is very nice, so I fell in love with Zao Onsen and Takasagoya Ryokan. It has become one of the accommodations that I would definitely like to visit again.(On my way back from going to the hot springs at night, I met an antelope that came to eat morning glories next to the inn🦌)

A ryokan in front of the Shimoyu ♨️There is an indoor bath, but it is an artificial hot spring.Well, if you go out, you can take a bath in 10 seconds. Other communal hot springs are also nearby, so no problems at all.Rather, it seems like it can be used as a hot spring for Zao.I feel like even people with sensitive skin can stay here with peace of mind. The service is constant and comfortable.

I am a nursing worker. Due to continued hard work, my mind and body reached their limits, so I visited Takasagoya for recuperation. At first I was surprised by the old building, but it was well kept and I didn't feel uncomfortable. It felt like I came to my grandmother's house in the countryside (lol). The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! What was delicious? When asked, for some reason, the word that came up was rice, even though there was high-quality meat. It was delicious. The landlady was very attentive and prepared a large bowl of rice for breakfast. Plenty of side dishes too! It was a kind of trial for me who doesn't usually eat breakfast! I had the pride of not leaving any food left behind, so I managed to finish the whole thing (lol). The onions in the bacon and eggs were a new sensation for me, and the meal progressed. By the way, the landlady's homemade tsukudani is really delicious! ! I am so grateful that the landlady came to see me off when I left! Thank you, I feel a little better!

The food was very delicious. When I went to the countryside for a while, I had a problem with small dishes such as dinner being served that my children were not used to eating, but at Takasagoya Ryokan, all the small side dishes were very delicious.Since it was June, I had a lot of ``nemagari-dake'' and ate it for the first time, but I enjoyed the texture. It was raining the next day, but the landlady said, ``We're going into the mountains today for our guests. "I did it with.I was convinced, ``I see, it's delicious because it's freshly harvested ingredients.''The location is convenient as it is close to the bus terminal and the public bath is right in front. There were some cute shops and a kokeshi doll making shop on the street in front of me, so I thought it would be fun for small children as well.

The building is old. I also liked the oldness of it (lol) I think if you bring children, you have to be careful about the stairs, but since they are adults, there are handrails (*^^*)For dinner, there was a wide variety of food, and the Yonezawa beef steak and the wild vegetables used in the various dishes were all really delicious.I would like to come stay again if I have a chance.
