Nice guesthouse with a very nice owner who also speaks good English.For me the bed was to hard and I had some nice people staying that thought it was nice to talk till after midnight not letting me sleep :/Would be better if there was a rule for not using the shared space after 22 and not talking in the evening but well

I stayed alone as a woman, but she led me to a room that was separated by curtains, so I never met anyone in the same room.He told me about a nearby public bath, which was great!

The landlady is very warm and humane, and the environment is very clean! Suitable for novice youth hostels. There are four-person rooms and single-person rooms. The price difference is not big. You can purchase a single-person room as an additional room.

(very) Small rooms but at the same time perfect for backpackers with low budget. Close to kyoto subway station and there are bus lines to all over the city 5 minutes away from the guest house.The staff were very friendly and gave good tips for our vacation at kyoto.

I found this place when I was looking for a good value accommodation on a sudden visit to Kyoto.I arrived very early and when I told her that I would like to leave my luggage, the woman very kindly let me go to my room.Thanks to the cleanliness and comfort of the room and bedding, I was able to rest my tired body✨The owner is a very interesting person and we had a great time talking, so I was happy to meet him here.If I go to Kyoto again, I will stay there 🥰It was a warm place, different from the image I saw on the reservation site, so I recommend it to everyone ✨👍

Since I finished work earlier than scheduled, I asked them to store my luggage, which they kindly agreed to do.They also gave me information on how to get to sightseeing spots and recommended places, and the customer service was very pleasant.

The worst place to stay during my 8-day trip to Kansai. The small wooden ladder to the attic was very narrow and it would be dangerous to carry large luggage. I was just a backpacker. I stayed in a 6-person room that was very narrow and had a bathroom. When I slept on the bed, I faced a big wooden pillar. The bed only has a very, very, very small piece of cloth, no privacy, and the pillows are very, very, very small, the kind used by small babies.The female shopkeeper who served us was very kind and even stayed in the attic at night.

Our stay at Santana Guest House was very special thanks to the hosts and their friends. We had some great conversations with them that really made us feel like we were in a home - a great feeling after weeks on the road! The rooms are small and the location isn't central, but we benefited from staying in a more "local" neighbourhood with its own charm, and the price can't be beat. Thank you Santana family for your warmth - we would love to stay in the affiliated guest houses if we visit India.

The staff and owners really are the nicest people, and the place has everything you'd expect from a guesthouse. Also, it's not very far from the JR Station and prices are friendly to budget travelers like me!
