The retro building has been skillfully renovated and has a great location, appearance, and atmosphere. However, the room is clean, but a little small and noisy. It can't be helped because it's an old standard.

Please note when making reservations: Reservations can be made by phone.Monthly reservations will start from 10:00 a.m. five months in advance, but online reservations will start from 9:00 a.m.They didn't tell me that, and I was told in advance, ``We'll be waiting for your call again from 10 o'clock.'' When I called exactly at 10 o'clock that day, please note that the reservation was fully booked online.

I used it during the Obon period. We had two rooms, one facing the river and one facing the mountain. It was a shame that the view from the second floor on the mountain side was only visible to the wall of the building next door.Although the price will be a little higher, we recommend a room facing the river without hesitation.Rooms facing the river allow you to enjoy the view of Ginzan Onsen from the terrace seats.Originally, partitions were installed in each room in the long hallway, but there is a large gap (about 10 cm) near the window, so you can hear the voices next door. There is a glass partition between the terrace seats and the bedroom, so you can rest assured that your voice will not be heard inside the room. However, since it is a 110-year-old wooden structure, the sounds from the rooms above will resonate quite a bit below, but let's enjoy it as a Taisho romance. Both the hospitality and the food were very satisfying. There are two types of baths that change at different times, so you can enjoy both. This time, I took the Shinkansen to Sendai, toured Miyagi, and then rented a car, but I think it will get there faster than the slower Yamagata Shinkansen.

I was a guest at the sister hotel Ginzanso and I entered this building to ask if it was possible to use the bath. It is not possible but I was especially badly received by the reception staff who were unpleasant.

A long-established inn that reopened in 2022. It has a modern interior while retaining the good aspects of an old inn. There are two baths with natural hot spring water, and the genders change depending on the time. The spring quality is clear with a light sulfur odor. Because of the sulfur smell, I thought there would be a tingling sensation, but I didn't feel any at all, and instead my skin felt smooth. The baths themselves are small, but each has its own charm.Due to the small number of guest rooms, the baths were not very crowded. All meals and drinks are included in the room rate, and there are basically no additional charges.I would like to go again.

Stayed for 1 night. The meals incorporated a lot of local ingredients, and the wild vegetables and meat were very delicious. I'm so happy to have all-you-can-drink sparkling drinks. The bath in the main building is small but full of character. It's good hot water. I walked up the slope from the main building to Ginzanso's open-air bath, which I could use for free, and I was impressed by how spectacular the reclining bath was in the middle of nature, and the stress of everyday life melted away. I went in the morning to go in at night. On the way back, we were taken to Oishida by a private bus, and the staff at Ginzanso held Hanagasa hats and unfurled a large curtain of gratitude, which brought tears to my eyes. I think it must have been extremely difficult during the coronavirus pandemic. The manager was young, humble, and handsome. Ginzanso Kosekiya, which has great hospitality, was a nice inn that energized the people who went there. thank you very much.
