Big pushI came here on February 2, 2023. This is the first time I have lived in an entire house abroad. It is very comfortable to live in, making people feel like going home while playing outside.Check-in is a self-service check-in. The landlord will provide the check-in method in advance. There is a car parking space in the front yard (an additional fee is required). There are also two small parks nearby.Because it is in a residential alley, it is very quiet. The layout of the house is:One toilet and two tatami rooms (connected) on the first floorOne toilet, living room, kitchen, and washing area on the second floorOne bedroom and one tatami room on the 3rd floor (not interconnected)There are balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floors.Since the building itself is decorated with wood and the stairs are relatively narrow (about the width of one person), one of the tatami mats on the first floor is cleverly covered and used as a luggage room. Although it is slightly inconvenient, it protects yourself and your home.Bathrooms in Japan are equipped with air conditioners. After taking a shower, you have to go outside to cool down in 1-degree weather 😂. And since we are traveling on a budget, we only bring three or two sets of clothes. Clothes for a group of 6 people can be dried in just one night. The bathroom space is very clean! ! This was probably my favorite part of the trip (I’m obsessed with toilets)It takes more than 10 minutes to walk from Kyoto Station to the hotel. Since there is only one stop, we slowly walked over and took a look at the scenery along the way. We also passed Don Quixote in the middle. Compared to the Gion area, the scenery along the way in the opposite direction is very pleasant and leisurely. It’s not cold in Kyoto in winter (maybe it’s because I’m not afraid of the cold). You can see Kyoto Tower from the bedroom on the third floor. It's very quiet in the alley, less than 5 minutes' walk from the stationThere are also Lawson and 7-11 nearby. I go there every night to buy late-night snacks. However, for dinner, there are not so many nearby. If you can communicate in Japanese, it will be no problem. However, because it is close to Kyoto Station, you can choose to eat directly at the station for dinner. On the day of check-in, we ate at a nearby family restaurant. We ordered food on a tablet, so don't worry if you don't speak English or Japanese. There is no need to use too much dialogue when checking out.For those who are not good at foreign languages, there is enough time to translate first😂When my friends and I visit Kyoto in the future, we will visit this accommodation again, and I will not hesitate to share it with friends who will visit Kyoto in the future! !

2023.12.27 - 2024.01.01This is the first time I choose to celebrate New Year in Japan. I am very lucky to have the opportunity to stay in this B&B. There are a few things I must share with you.1. We didn’t arrive until around 10pm on the day of check-in. The landlady had already set the password for the door lock early and sent a message notification. You can enter directly after arriving at the B&B. You don’t have to worry about affecting each other’s work and rest.2. At first, I couldn’t understand why all the luggage must be placed on the first floor, but after I checked in, I realized that this is not only to protect the building itself (the stairs and rooms are mostly made of wood), but also to carry the suitcases up the stairs. It was said to be very dangerous, so the B&B was very considerate in planning a spacious luggage room on the first floor. Our group of six 29-inch suitcases were opened without any problem.3. The classification of garbage in Japan is actually quite different from that in Taiwan. At first, I couldn’t figure out what to throw in the wrong way. The lady boss very thoughtfully helped us sort it and taught us how to identify it. It was really a lesson.4. The internal activity space is very sufficient. A total of 3 floors are used by a group of 3 couples. The interior of the room is also very clean. There are 2 Japanese-style tatami rooms and 1 wooden floor room (a total of 3 room), 1 bathroom, 2 toilets, a spacious living room, and an open kitchen. Both the living room and the room are equipped with air conditioning and heating. I really feel comfortable and considerate.5. The location is close to the Kujo subway station and there is a bus stop nearby. After getting off the bus, you can walk to the B&B in 2-3 minutes. There are also supermarkets 7-11 and Lowson nearby, which can be reached within a 5-minute walk, or even It only takes 10 minutes to walk to Kyoto Station. The location can be said to be quiet in the bustle.Based on the above accommodation experience, if I visit Kyoto again next time, I will definitely make this place my first choice😊

The apartment was spacious and super clean. However, there are additional charges for everything, extra futon, coffee pod, car park (even though the apartment has a car park). The parking fee was later waived through negotiation. The location was okay, not too far from Kyoto Station but it is in a quiet side of town so may not suit everyone. But overall experience was okay.

Four people live on the third floor. It is very large and comfortable. There is an open fire for cooking, knives, a hot water kettle, and a washing machine. The conclusion is that I have to stay here every time I come.
