I had the opportunity to stay here for a short while during one of my solo trips to Japan. The place was clean, simple and in a very good location to access majority of Kyoto sights.

It takes about 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto Station. Maybe it's because it's not near Kyoto Tower, but the neighborhood is very quiet (meaning it's nice). There are a total of 3 floors, and there is one bathroom on the first and second floors. There are two shower rooms on the first floor. I thought, “Isn’t that too little?”, but I have never had to wait. For some reason, it worked well. The bed is so cozy, and the pillows are so soft. The room next to me was made of plywood, so I tried to be careful and live quietly. Everyone was in that mood. It doesn't really bother me.Just like when I lived in the university dormitory, I can hear the alarm sounds of people in the same room. Haha, I get to wake up early and it's nice. Hahahahahaha (really)Even though I was told there were towels, I didn't bring them. They give you one at first, and it costs 200 yen to change to another towel.I just used it once, hung it up when I left, and used it again haha.If you go to the kitchen, toast bread, jam, and butter will always be provided. There is also coffee and green tea. There are curtains in the bed. There is no separate lock. I just turned off the stand and changed my clothes haha. One locker with a key is provided per person. In fact, there was nothing to steal, so I didn't use it.There was one person using it.If I had stayed at a hotel, I would have played music and talked to myself. It's a shame that I couldn't do that, but I think it was a more calm trip like Kyoto. It was great!
