I've been going to this hotel since it opened.At first, it was beautiful and the location was perfect.I stayed there every week ^_^As expected, the room has become damaged recently.Well, it can't be helped because anything that has a tangible form will fall apart someday, but the fact that it's not being cleaned properly is a problem with the quality of the people cleaning it.When you peek under the edge of the sink, you'll see a thick black mold growing that gives you goosebumps.If you take a leisurely bath with hot water in it, the mold will be completely visible, so you'll want to get out quickly rather than leisurely.Seriously, every room is full of mold!I'm a business traveler with a baby who lives in a hotel every week, and this is the only hotel where mold has grown so much and I've left it alone.It's not just the room you happen to stay in, it's all the rooms you stay in.And the worst thing is, I hate smoking so I only stay in non-smoking rooms, but the towels that were left smelled like resin.I guess it's shared by smoking and non-smoking areas.I want it to stop.Some non-smokers dislike the smell of smoke to the point of death.It's impossible to have a smell of resin rubbing against your body after taking a bath (･･;)So, these days I only stay there two or three times a year.Please improve it.Later, when I carefully read other people's posts, it seems that the cleaning of the bathroom is really not good.Was the cleaning company Nami? ?It's cheap over there, but the quality of the staff working there is quite poor.Don't use that place (･･;)Aunties only talk and don't work.Everywhere in Hakodate City is famous, so it's conspicuous that people aren't working at all.I think the solution would be to hire your own cleaners and train them to clean.

I checked in because of the low price, but I was satisfied with the service and received more than the cost of accommodation.This is an inn I would like to stay at again if I am in the Goryokaku area.Goryokaku Tower is much more impressive than it looks in this photo! I'm sorry for the poor photography skills!!There is a convenience store adjacent to the first floor, so you don't have to worry about food shortages late at night.There are many restaurants around Toyuka Hotel, so you can be satisfied even if you stay overnight without meals.As a side note, the witty conversation of the dandy receptionist was refreshing.

The rooms are small but that’s typical for hotel rooms in Japan. The room was very clean and came stocked with various items (toothbrushes, pjs, slippers). The room did not smell like smoke which I was worried about based on some of the reviews. The front desk staff were kind and the check in/out process was super easy. The best part is the Family Mart attached to the hotel lobby. Open 24 hours! The location is also great. Right across the street from the tram stop. A couple of restaurants right around the hotel too. The ac also works really well.

It is close to Goryokaku Park and there is a tram stop right in front.The amenities are located in the drawer next to the lobby sofa in front of the check-in counter. There were no particularly tall buildings around, so the view was good.

The biggest advantage of this room for me is that there is a convenience store downstairs and the bathroom is quite spacious.The disadvantages are that the non-smoking rooms still have a slight smell of cigarette smoke, which may be due to the ventilation ducts, and the space in the room cannot even open two suitcases at the same time, which is very small.Parking fee is 800 yuan per day.

Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights in August 2024. The room on the north side of the 11th floor had a great view of the mountain range from Goryokaku. The room, bath, and toilet were spacious and easy to use. There are three difficulties. The first one is the unique smell. You get used to it, but there's a smell that you don't normally smell, which is common in old hotels, that hangs in the room and on the floor where you stay. Second, the bed was soft and my back hurt. This varies from person to person, but it didn't suit me. The bed springs are not modern. Third, the air conditioning is old and the temperature settings are loose. The temperature doesn't change that much whether you raise it or lower it. Although it is a recessed type, it is probably an old one from the time it was built and does not have the sensitivity of today.

■Location - Although it is 4 to 5 stops away from Hakodate Eki by train, it is quite convenient that there is a train stop in front of the hotel. There is also a bus stop where you can take the bus directly to Mount Hakodate to see the night view. If you want to go to Hakodate Airport, there are also buses that go directly to the airport. It is an ordinary bus. It takes about a dozen stops, but it only takes 30 minutes to get there, and the fare is very cheap, only 310 yen.■There are many restaurants and izakayas nearby, and diagonally opposite Hakodate's only department store "Marui Imai", which closes at 6:30 pm on weekdays!There is Starbucks coffee on the first floor of Muji next to it, and there is a small supermarket on B1 where you can buy local fruits and agricultural products. It is open until 8 pm every day.The small shop next to the hotel sells delicious red beans, sesame daifuku (mochi) and soy sauce dumplings. The most interesting thing is that it turns into a drinking place at night.■We stayed on the 14th floor. It was a double room (with two extra large single beds)/plus a folding bed. The only complaint was that the folding bed was a tri-folding type. I don’t know if the quality of the mattress was too bad. When sleeping, you can clearly feel the two protruding horizontal bars below, which makes it very difficult to sleep!On the second night, we had to put two single beds together to barely sleep the three of us.If there is a quadruple room, I will definitely book a quadruple room.Even if the hotel provides extra beds, they should pay attention to quality. I hope this place can be improved.We stayed in Sapporo for the first five days, and the extra bed was also a folding bed, which was really much better!We are very satisfied with other facilities in the hotel room.

When I saw what looked like pubic hair in the bathroom, I really wanted to go home.Hair is also stuck to the sheets and towels.This is my first time at a hotel like this.There is a convenience store on the first floor and the location is good.I'm very disappointed. This is a very beautiful hotel located near Hakodate Goryokaku Park. Access to Mt. Hakodate and the Red Brick Warehouse was also closer than if you were traveling by car, so I didn't have to worry about it.In addition to the multi-story parking lot, there is also a flat parking lot, but when the parking lot is full, you will be directed to a nearby coin parking lot. The parking lot management staff were very courteous.The room size was average for a business hotel, but it was very clean.The room had a view of Goryokaku Tower when I looked out the window, so it was beautifully lit up at night.Breakfast was buffet style and looked delicious so I asked for it when checking in.The dishes made with local Hokkaido ingredients were also delicious, so I was satisfied!
