I stayed for one night on a business trip starting September 20th.I wasn't as far from the station as I thought. Although it was a single room, it didn't feel too small and was comfortable. I would like to use it again when I come to Sendai on business.

It's close to the station, and the staff are very nice. The facilities are old, but they are well kept. (I was a little worried about the mold in the bathroom)I was able to stay there for around 4,000 yen during a three-day weekend, which was a great relief, but the entire building smelled of petroleum. I was prepared for this as many people had written about it in the reviews, but the room had a particularly bad smell of petroleum. Is the air conditioner the culprit because there is no odor in the bathroom when I turn off the air conditioner? I wonder if they have any intention of improving it even though this is written in the reviews. Will the staff get used to the smell if they work every day?I would like them to check their air conditioners and at least put deodorizers and air purifiers in their rooms.
