A really warm lady boss.It felt like I was invited to my grandmother's house rather than a typical guesthouse. Of course, since it is a guest house considering the price, there are various limitations, but I wonder if there are any places like this.Thank you and highly recommend.

The host was incredibly friendly, offering travel advice and itinerary suggestions. Although she doesn’t speak English, a kind fellow traveler helped translate. I also took a cooking class with her, learning how to make Okonomi-yaki and onsen tofu – it was fun and delicious! The male dorm is on the second floor, and while the facilities are basic, they provide what you need. It’s clear the space wasn’t initially designed for a hostel, as things were added over time. However, if you’re after a welcoming host and a cozy place to rest, this is perfect. While there’s no onsen in the hostel itself, a five-minute walk takes you to a fantastic public bath. Highly recommend this for anyone seeking a cost-effective, local, and heartwarming stay in Ureshino city center.

I was a little nervous traveling alone, but the smile of my wife who welcomed me made me feel at ease.Nothing makes me happier than being warmly welcomed by the people I visit.The staff also recommended restaurants and cafes, and told me to contact them if I had any problems.Excellent access to anywhere in the city.In addition, in the evening, we had a footbath set up by the window, and it was a pleasant time to relax while looking out at the hot spring town.I was also happy that they provided me with towels when I enjoyed the nearby hot springs.Although the hospitality is top-notch, this guesthouse is still in its infancy. I am looking forward to the future development of the facility.

I really had a great time with this guesthouse in Uneshino. The guesthouse is a very good choice for solo traveler. Good price with high quality experience. The hosts were super nice. The guesthouse owner is couple of elderly, but they are passionate for their life. I spent one night and one day there. The host not only recommended me what to see & eat but also drove me to visit around. When I said I want to eat Saga Beef, they helped me to search for that. Unfortunately there is none at noon. But they helped me make it at home. I was really thankful for them for their kindness. At the end, the host also gave me the CD with the songs they make and the book her husband wrote, and also some other gifts for me. This experience is far beyond to the money I paid.

This is the accommodation used for 2 nights at Ureshino. You can see that the elderly owner put a lot of thought into decorating the rooms and amenities to make guests comfortable.It was so friendly and comfortable that I stayed well and am very, very satisfied!
