You can enjoy nature in all four seasons. When I visited in mid-October, I was soothed by the smell of osmanthus. The photo shows the "Tswabuki" room, which is the closest to the restaurant and wheelchair accessible.More than anything, I was happy with the thoughtfulness of the people at the inn. Some rooms have stairs at the entrance, so if you are using a wheelchair, please check with the inn in advance.

A hot spring inn located deep in the mountains of Sonogi.Since our children were small, we stayed at this small, quiet inn where each room had an open-air bath. The service was attentive, perhaps because it was small. The temperature of the open-air hot spring bath attached to the room is low at about 36 degrees, but since we stayed in summer, it was perfect and we were able to bathe in it without heating it.The Japanese based meal was very delicious. There is nothing around, and it takes some time to go to sightseeing spots.Overall, I was satisfied with the facilities and services such as meals and baths.

Approximately 30 minutes by car from the nearest interchange or Nagasaki Airport. A solitary inn nestled quietly in the mountains of Sonogi.Just as I was starting to feel a little worried about the mountain path, which was lined with trees and tea plantations, I started to wonder if this was the right path for me, when a guide board came into view. There is a fork in the middle of the road, the left side leads to the camping area, and the right side leads to the inn. Mountain roads have curves with poor visibility and narrow spots, so please drive safely. There is a parking lot in front of the main house, and you cross the stream to enter the main house. An extraordinary world opens up beyond the bridge. The vast grounds have rice fields, chicken coops, carp swimming in the clear stream, and a thicket of trees around the hearth, giving it a nostalgic feel. The guest rooms scattered throughout the building are basically two row houses, except for the special rooms. It is connected to the main building by a covered exterior corridor, and there are carts available, so getting around is not a problem. Each room has a bath with free-flowing water, and you can enjoy a very luxurious time while soaking in the hot springs while listening to the rustling of trees and the crows of chickens.Meals are served both morning and evening in a semi-private dining room in the main building. Dishes made with homemade rice or fresh rice and vegetables grown around Sonogi are popular. Eat a moderate amount of dinner, and have a lot of rice for breakfast, so be careful not to overeat. It can be said that this is an inn where you can spend a relaxing time surrounded by nature and not get caught up in time. The downside is that cell phone reception is difficult (although there is free Wi-Fi). There are no shops in the area, so you will need to prepare food and drinks in advance. This is a place to heal your daily fatigue.

Anyway, it was a good inn.The bathroom, room, and food were all good.My daughter, who rarely says such things, said she wanted to stay again, which made me very happy. It's not cheap, but I'm more than satisfied with it, so I'd definitely use it again.

Of all the accommodations I have stayed at, it was the place where I felt the greatest sense of nature. You can wake up to the sound of chirping chickens in the morning, watch fireflies at night, and just take a short walk to relax and recharge your energy. There were rabbits jumping around when we checked in.I was very grateful for the kind and courteous behavior of the people at the hostel. It was also nice that the room had a bath. My comfort level has increased. It's been a wonderful journey.
