Nice experience in a typical ryokan, we paid 1000 yen for a typical breakfast and we wore a yukata. The friendliness of the lady, the typical experience, the futon. The bathroom was next to our room so it didn’t even feel like a separate room. Pillows were very hard… made of stones maybe?

I stayed one night in Unzen. It's close to the bus stop, about 5 to 10 minutes on foot, and it's great for exploring Hell and other places. The town is small, so the route will likely be similar no matter where you stay.I was impressed by how friendly the hostess was. When I checked in, I bought breakfast for 600 yen and a communal hot spring ticket, which was originally 200 yen but was discounted to 120 yen, and was shown to a tatami room with a nice atmosphere. There doesn't seem to be a separate bathroom (I'm going to the hot springs, so it doesn't matter), but there is a shared bathroom. They prepare tea outside your room so you can drink it for free. The breakfast was delicious and I had no idea how to get to Fukuoka, so I asked and they very kindly wrote down the bus time for me. thank you. I spoke Japanese so I was given more detailed guidance, but I think a translator or body language would suffice.

The landlady took good care of us.Before checking in, I was asked to take a bath first because I was soaking wet.I didn't have dinner so I don't know, but the heart and warm hospitality is the best.

Stayed on weekdays with 2 meals included. Since it is a guesthouse, services and facilities are limited, but they are properly announced in advance so there are no problems. The rooms have air conditioning, TV, and internet access. I was staying solo, but I was assigned a large room with over 10 tatami mats. Hot water and tea were prepared in the hallway. The bath at the inn is not a hot spring, but you can get a ticket to a nearby public bath for 100 yen. It was a very hot authentic hot spring. I was surprised by the food, especially the dinner, which exceeded my expectations. It was delicious and filling. Please note that meals will be served in the large hall. The host was kind and responsive, and I had a comfortable stay. I felt that the cost performance was very good. It is recommended.

It was a very comfortable accommodation to stay in as it was very clean and well-maintained. I was traveling with small children, and they were helpful in letting me use the bathroom for myself, and letting the miso soup cool down a little. Also, at night I went to a nearby public bath, but it was dark at night and I was a little worried, but it was a 3 minute walk and the spring quality was the best! The food was plentiful and the children's set meals were gorgeous, and I felt that they were thoughtful in that they had grilled fish for adults and sausages for children for breakfast. thank you very much.
