I used it the night before to go mountain climbing nearby.Since it was a weekday, the place was very empty with only two other people. The manager explained things very thoroughly. There was a grassy area with tables, etc., and the kitchen, garbage disposal area, and toilets seemed to be well maintained. The price is also reasonable at 570 yen per person.I would like to visit again if I have a chance. Please note that the nearby hot springs close early. Kappa Fureai no Yu is open until 7pm, and other baths are open until 6pm.If you plan to use the hot springs here, I think it's best to go early. Also, as it is seasonal, there were horseflies flying around. For some reason I can't attack people.

This time I only stayed for one night as a trial, but it would have been better to stay for consecutive nights. There was plenty to do, including a walk around the grounds, the promenade, and even the hot springs. Camping on vast grounds is the ultimate luxury.

Used on bicycle trips. The manager was kind. Although it was raining, they allowed us to set up our tent in a sheltered area. There are many mosquitoes.

Used on trip to Tohoku.According to the manager, there were several groups of people heading to Hokkaido by ferry and staying overnight in the car. That looks like fun too. It's nice to be able to pitch a tent without worrying about height differences on a spacious, flat free site. We enjoyed a quiet camping experience while enjoying the sounds of wild birds. The usage fee was 570 yen and I received a sticker with a number written on it. There is a natural spring water on the left side of the administration building, which is very cold. It's great to drink, or even chilled! There is a rest area and coin laundry on the right side of the administration building, and if the weather is bad, you can probably take shelter there. Garbage can be separated and disposed of at designated collection points. There is also a covered kitchen. There are paid hot springs (detergents available) and free, unmanned open-air baths (detergents not allowed, no running water) nearby. The free version has a system for men and women depending on the time of day, and the entrance is on an unpaved vacant lot, so it's hard to tell. The campsite is located in the forest and far from the city, so it's a good idea to do your shopping in advance.I was able to buy firewood that looked like bagged scraps at a cheap price at the administration building, so I was able to enjoy a bonfire on my bike (open fires are strictly prohibited).

It costs 570 yen per night. It was quite spacious and relatively flat, making it easy to camp. There are also two clean toilets, a garbage dump, a coin laundry, a relaxing terrace, and a clean shelter. (There's even a place where you can charge your batteries!) There's Kappa no Yu (free!) and Couple Kappa no Yu (I think it was about 240 yen?) nearby, so you can take as many baths as you want! It made sense that there were many long-term stays. The stars are beautiful, the weather is cool, and I'm definitely looking forward to the fall foliage season!
