The hot springs are pleasant and the rooms are well appointed. But the food was terrible!I believed the description that the fish was delicious, so I chose the most expensive course, but it was at the level of conveyor belt sushi. After all, do all the good fish end up in Tokyo? There are other hot spring hotels that make good use of local fish, but there is no point in choosing this one.I guess there's no love in cooking...

2024.8.21This time, I decided to stay at Nanpukan for one night because the inn I usually stay at, which mainly serves sushi, was undergoing renovations. The plan is for one night with breakfast only. So, I asked the landlady to separate the sushi restaurant's charges and the accommodation charges. The cost of 10,000 yen will be more than enough to eat and drink, so it will be a little more expensive than a one-night stay that includes breakfast and dinner. However, you can eat whatever you want and order whatever alcohol you like. 🍶🍺🍷🍣😚 (Reserved from 7pm)The inn is the same as the entrance to the sushi restaurant. Shoes and smoking are prohibited from the second floor. The inn also has sandals, so you can wear sandals at the sushi restaurant. The room was enough for one person. Thank goodness there's chilled water in the fridge. The scenery is almost non-existent, but it is quiet. Depending on the room, the view may be different, but considering the price, it's not bad. All the rooms are named after fish, and this time it's Spanish mackerel. Ventilation vent? I guess the sound is a little bothersome, but since I'm watching the video on my bed phone, I can handle it. I appreciate the air conditioning and air purifier (attached to the wall). Wifi available. There are separate hot springs for men and women on the first floor. Although the bathroom is small, you can relax. The temperature should be a little hot, around 42-43 degrees Celsius, and when it's hot, they want you to add water and stir it. Personally, the temperature is suitable, but it gets a little warm in the morning. The garden is beautiful, the edges of the straw grass are crisp and beautiful.A cool breeze blows through the hallway. Morning coffee is placed (be careful as you have time), and the cup is also nice 👍. ⚠️There are some steps in the hallway. Be careful if you are elderly or have consumed alcohol. I thought I might stumble. I was listening to the explanation, but I guess I'm too old😅.Breakfast is served in the ``Tuna'' banquet hall on the right side after going down the stairs, opposite the bathroom. The next day after drinking and eating, the miso soup with fresh clams was still soaked in my skin. I ate three bowls of white rice, grilled fish, pickles, and boiled food, and it was a great breakfast. After relaxing until checkout, we headed to Lake Towada and Oirase Gorge for touring. It was a nice stay. Thank you. 😄
