A sulfur-based bath that will make your body feel warm and delicious food. Long baths are strictly prohibited as it is too effective. Both dinner and breakfast are 5 stars. It was so delicious that I emptied my ohitsu rice bowl all morning. You can also watch Hokkaido broadcasts on the TV in your room. The day trip bath facility located 15 seconds walk away is also great.

This hotel is located near the northern tip of the Shimokita Peninsula, next to the national highway along the coastline. In the small fishing port that can be seen from the room on the 6th floor, there are two or three fishermen preparing for tomorrow's fishing...The sound of the seagulls' cries arouses the desire to travel. The cloudy white water soothed the fatigue of the drive, not too hot, but surrounded by the perfect smell of sulfur, I was able to spend a relaxing time alone. Dinner is full of seafood, including whole seasonal sea urchins and abalone cooked in a hot pot. The sashimi also comes with Oma tuna, which is very satisfying. My wife enjoyed the sea urchin so much that she ended up sharing half of it with me.At dawn, the sun rises over the Tsugaru Strait, and while small boats go fishing, several seagulls sing and fly.Its appearance arouses the desire to travel to the Shimokita Peninsula. The next morning, about an hour after leaving the inn, I received a call from the hotel saying that I had left my clothes in the room. The next day, a courier arrived with a polite letter.Thank you very much.I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. Thank you, lady 😊

Used on trip to Aomori in April 2023. It's a perfect description of a hot spring inn in a small town in the countryside. I think people who like this kind of thing won't like it. The hot springs have a pleasant sulfur smell that is not too strong. My wife has the same opinion, so I'm sure there's no doubt about it. It soothes your tired body from driving and warms you up. The space is large enough to fit around 5 people, but there are no other guests and it's reserved for private use, so it's not a problem. Dinner is served in your room and consists mainly of locally caught seafood. It's usually delicious and the quantity is sufficient. The next morning, I was impressed by the view from my room. The sight of the morning sun rising over the sea is refreshing for people who live on the Sea of Japan side. You can even see the land of Hokkaido in the distance. The breakfast was delicious and I was satisfied. I was able to relax in my room until departure time allowed and then depart comfortably for my next destination. thank you very much.

The building itself has a very retro atmosphere...but the room has been renovated and is very clean♪However, the water area seemed very damaged, perhaps because of the sulfur springs (><)Dinner is served in your room, and there are so many different kinds that you'll be full (^^)All of them were delicious, especially the abalone, which was very meaty and delicious☆Breakfast was served in a large hall...There were a lot of things that were similar to rice, and the rice was delicious from the morning, haha. The bath had a strong sulfur smell and was a very hot hot spring♨️The changing area is not very large and there is only one sink, so I can only hope that it will not be crowded (><)

The meal featured plenty of seafood. For dinner, we had delicious dishes such as a whole purple sea urchin, steamed abalone, sashimi, monkfish liver, and mozuku. Also, the bath was cloudy and warmed my body. It's a good accommodation. However, the bathroom in the room is a unit bath toilet, so that's okay. It was worth the night and I would like to stay there again. I have become busy.

Shimofuro Onsenkyo is located right between Oma and Mutsu cities.A natural hot spring with a strong sulfur scent. You can enjoy seafood dishes such as Oma tuna and Mutsu Bay scallops.Unfortunately, the food had a strong taste and the sashimi was not of an amazing quality. The room was well maintained and didn't feel old at all. When I told people in Aomori that I would be staying at Shimofuro Onsen, everyone said it was a nice place.

I chose it as a stopover on my way to Omasaki on short notice, and the hot springs far exceeded my expectations. This was the only place I could make a reservation at that time, and it was very comfortable and had a good old fashioned feel. When you get off at the nearest bus stop, the smell of sulfur fills the air and you instantly feel like you're in a hot spring mood.Although the rooms and the building are old, I felt that they were well maintained. It makes me feel valued. The quality of the spring water in the bath in the hotel was good, but it was a bit lukewarm. Don't you feel like it's not enough in winter?Perhaps that's why they have free rental bath goods so that you can easily go to Kaikyo-no-Yu, which is within walking distance.Dinner was served in the room, which is rare these days, and was a delight for drinkers. The food, including the breakfast, is a bit bland, so your tastes may vary. I liked it.Finally, when I checked out and checked the bus stop to Omazaki just to be sure, I asked myself, would it be better to have small change? That's what the hotel staff told me, and even though there was no bank nearby, they returned my change in 1,000 yen bills. It's quite far away, so I don't know if I'll have a chance to go again, but if I were to go nearby, I would like to stay there again.
