It is near Wakinozawa Port. It is famous for its northernmost monkeys, but the Japanese serow is also said to be there.The parents are nature photographers, and you can see some of their wonderful photos inside the museum.

Thank you for your help in May! Even though it was raining, they kindly accommodated me. It was an old inn. I was able to relieve my fatigue due to the pleasant treatment of the owner. The next day, I left around 4 o'clock in time to catch the ferry that departed from Oma Port at 7 a.m., so I couldn't even say hello. Along the way, we were able to meet a monkey family! Thanks to your support, I was able to successfully complete my subsequent bike trip around Japan! Thank you for your warm hospitality🙇!! ️From Amami number

I stayed there 30 years ago on a trip along the forest roads on the lower northwest coast. The roads were rough at the time, but I remember receiving the approval from my parents, saying, ``This car will do just fine.'' It is said that he was photographing monkeys at the northern limit, so there were photographs of monkeys on display inside the museum. How are you still doing?

Even though I arrived on a rainy night, my mother came out to the main street to show me her love and care, and the delicious breakfast and boxed lunch she brought for me. I learned a lot from my father who told me various stories about Shimokita and Aomori. I would love to hear from you again.The bed is a former bunk bed with the top removed, and we provide plenty of futons and blankets, so you won't feel uncomfortable sleeping.The reason for one less star is because the room was too spacious so the cleaning was not done thoroughly, and there was the sound of an unknown heavy object moving (I think it was an animal...).

The only youth hostel in this area. We will post information published by YH headquarters. The national highway from here to Oma is a winding road that you will have to endure rather than enjoy, so if it's evening, it's better to stay here and leave in the morning.

I visited here on my bike about 40 years ago. I remember the hospitality of the staff, the food (miso soup, sashimi), my mother buying some sardines early in the morning, and the food being delicious. I hope to see you again soon.

I was impressed by the lovely owner couple and the stylish handmade interior.There was plenty of room, so the two of us were allowed to use the four-bed room as a private room, and we were told that there are many families staying these days.
