One minute from the station, although the hotel is relatively old-fashioned, it still has an indoor and an outdoor hot spring. This time I booked a Japanese-Western style room. The room was so spacious and the view was so wide. Stayed for two nights, and I was pleasantly surprised that the breakfast and dinner were not the same, which felt very considerate. Maybe it’s not the peak season in early October and there aren’t many customers, but the overall feeling is very good

I decided on a hotel in a hurry a few days before my stay. I arrived well before check-in time and asked if I could park my car to take a walk around the neighborhood, and they happily agreed. There was no tea or other service at check-in, but I went straight to my room.It was a Japanese-style room on the third floor, but it had a compact and clean impression. As for tea, only tea leaves are used. There were no sweets etc. It was difficult to close the room key because the door was misaligned. The setta worn inside the building were a bit painful to my feet, so I exchanged them for the slippers placed in front of the elevator on the first floor. There was a wide variety of children's items available next door. This is a great service for people with children. You can use the shampoo and other shampoos you choose by putting an appropriate amount into the cup provided. There was a drip coffee machine in the lobby for a fee, and there was a wide variety of services to choose from! However, unfortunately, everything is not fully explained. If we don't notice it ourselves, we can't use it, right? I thought. Most of the food is set on the table, and it is different from the type of accommodation where you are brought out one item at a time. If you know that in advance, it will be one of your options. Please think of it as a suitable dish. The spring quality is the best. Add slowly at appropriate temperature. It is very convenient for sightseeing and walking. I don't think you will be dissatisfied or regretful if you choose your accommodation after gathering information in advance based on reviews etc.

My second visit to Unzen, a place I definitely want to stayCame here on a tourist guideHot springs are the bestBut I could only enter it once. The guys from the outside sports club didn't feel out of place, and I was confused as they greeted everyone they passed.Thank you very much for the sticker, which is not for sale at the moment. It's a hot spring that I want to soak in slowly over and over again.I don't know about anyone else, but I slacked off just once.Regret remainsIt was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I had booked a hotel online, but when I got to the room, it was really hot even though the air conditioner was supposed to be on.Even though the afternoon sun was shining, there were no curtains, so it was really hot, so I had to use the air conditioner to cool down for a while. I waited for a while, but it didn't cool down, so I ended up talking to the hotel owner, and he was able to change my room, but he didn't even say ``I'm sorry.'' In the first room, the toilet was forced to change from Japanese style to Western style. If I make a reservation online, will I only get a room like this? I feel doubtful. It may not be a good idea to compare it with other hotels, but other hotels often have items such as heel scrubs and peeling gels that are sold in shops. There was no motivation at all on the part of the hotel.

[July 31st to August 7th, 2020]This hotel is located in the hot spring town of Unzen ❗️ Nearby are Unzen Jigoku ♨️, hot spring shrine ⛩️, and Unzen Manmyoji Temple where the Unzen Daibutsu is located. You can smell the sulfur from the natural hot spring water. The open-air bath is large. The scenery is good and you can see the mountains up close. At night, the stars can also be seen beautifully. The room was a Japanese style room. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body soap in the room bath. However, there were also toothbrushes, razors, hair dryers, and towels. The food was delicious except for dinner on the first day.

Beautifully renovated hotelI think it's probably being renovated one after another, but when I visited, the rooms, hot springs, elevators, etc. were new and quite clean. There was something like stained glass embedded in the wall of the room, and a green light was coming out of it, creating a mysterious atmosphere, but since the light could be turned off, there was no problem. The food seemed a little strong, but it was very delicious. If there is one drawback, it is that you have to eat a lot, so you have to do your best. There is a geyser right next to the hotel, and it was nice to be able to see the sights within a few minutes' walk. There are plenty of souvenir shops and convenience stores, so if you come by car, you won't have any complaints about the location.

The hotel is quite old, but you can see that the hosts are trying their best. The owners welcomed and said goodbye to us with great respect, which we as tourists will definitely remember. Rooms clean. Just a few steps to the hot springs. I recommend.

The elevator is out of order, so it is not recommended for elderly people, families with small children, or people with a lot of luggage. The guest rooms up to the 4th floor have been beautifully renovated, but the 5th floor is an old Japanese-style room that doesn't seem to be used regularly. When making a reservation, please request a location other than the 5th floor. The location is easy to find and you can walk to Unzen Jigoku. If I were to recommend this hotel to someone, I would only do so after the elevator is fixed.

I forgot to take a picture of breakfast. It seems like a very old and historic hotel, but the interior has been fairly renovated. The tatami mats are rare these days considering the room has been renovated. There's no scent left, but it's pretty new.Is it a coronavirus subsidy? It's a big help, but...Although it's tatami, it has a chic and beautiful interior that makes you feel at ease.It feels a little flimsy, but it's stylish and not inconvenient. However, the elevator was out of order so I had to go up and down the stairs. There are no indoor slippers in the room. There were setta for indoor use, but they only came in one size. They were so tight on my feet that I had to spread them out with both hands to put them on.My feet were a little chafed from going up and down the stairs so many times. The reason why I went up and down so many times was because of the manga placed inside the building. On the day of my stay, I couldn't go outside due to heavy rain, so I ended up reading all the volumes of the nostalgic Slam Dunk lolGoing up and down to get the manga lolAnd the food wasn't good.Old-fashioned, I should say. . .And all the servers are foreigners. I can't understand Japanese, which is a little difficult, soThe question I asked was not understood. .I didn't worry about it because I drank it at night, but there was no after-meal coffee for breakfast either.
