I used it for an overnight stay after the Sanriku Fireworks Festival from October 13th (Sunday) to October 14th (Monday), 2024.I thought it would be difficult to register after the fireworks display, so I arrived around 11am to complete the registration process before arriving at the venue, but they kindly accepted my request and even offered to store my luggage.The room was a standard twin room, but I was able to spend a comfortable time in the spacious room and unit bath, and I was very satisfied.I think it depends on the room, but I think it was nice to be able to see Kesennuma Port outside the room window and see that reconstruction is progressing.The breakfast was delicious and had just the right amount for breakfast.There is also a Yamazaki shop next to the hotel, which I think is convenient.I think the staff is very responsive and it is a hotel where you can be satisfied. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.(Sorry for the photo of the room after use💦)

This is a recommended hotel in the Kesennuma port area. It's a bit of a walk to the convenience store, but being close to Umi no Ichi and other facilities is a big plus. The TV is also the latest model. I have the impression that there is no particular excess or deficiency. I would like to stay here next time if it is available.

It was my first time traveling alone and I stayed in a non-smoking single room for one night with breakfast only.I was looking forward to it because it was very cheap and I could eat salted fish for breakfast, but I was more than happy than I could have imagined!There were not just one type of salted fish, but four types, as well as two types of mekabu!I ordered 3 types of salted fish myself and had a second helping of rice.We also had shark fin soup available only on Sundays, and it was a delicious soup that was completely different from the shark fin soup that used to be served once or twice a year for school lunches!The room was of course clean and there was enough space in the refrigerator to store ice packs, which was very helpful.The TV had not only terrestrial TV, but also YouTube, AbemaTV, and smartphone mirroring, which was really nice.Furthermore, if you answered the questionnaire at checkout, you would receive a free gift of Hoyaboya goods.When I answered the question, I was given a ballpoint pen as one of the 3-4 types of goods!It would be no exaggeration to say that I went on a solo trip to go to Hoyabo and shops, and it was a great memory.When I visit Kesennuma again, I will use this hotel again!

If you walk a little, there are various chain stores.(Osaka Osho, Hamazushi, Katsuya, Sukiya, etc.)I don't have a problem with dinner.There is also a drug store, so shopping is not a problem.Please note that the Yamazaki shop next door has short business hours.Breakfast is the same bento type.You can eat salted squid, mekabu, natto, raw eggs, etc. as you like.

I use it from around mid-November every year. Last year, I was unable to go to Tohoku due to the lack of fish catches. This hotel is located right next to the Kesennuma Fish Market, making it a convenient hotel for someone like me who is involved in fisheries. The parking lot is on the 1st floor, and the reception is on the 2nd floor via elevator. There is also a breakfast area, smoking area, and coin laundry. The guest rooms are on the 3rd floor or above, but since only one person can sleep there, it's enough. Breakfast included a main side dish, followed by rice, miso soup, natto, salted fish, etc., and it was delicious. This is a homestay in Kesennuma.

We are happy to provide breakfast service when staying on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.Breakfast was individually plated, and I thought it was good to be able to sample products sold at the online shop. I was able to understand the deliciousness that is difficult to convey through photos alone, and the meal progressed.The TV in the room was a multi-function type that could display smartphone screens and watch YouTube, Abema, and huru.It was built after the earthquake, so the rooms are clean and the bathtubs are relatively large, which is nice.

After the Great East Japan Earthquake, the surrounding private houses disappeared, and the building was built on a lot of vacant land. Close to the sea and within walking distance to the fish market. I ate cake from a nearby cake shop in my room.When the sun goes down, it gets pitch black, so it's helpful to have a flashlight or headlamp when you go out.

Breakfast includes a box of side dishes, white rice, raw eggs, natto, seaweed, and salted squid.Anyway, it was a very satisfying meal that went well with the rice.If we had a room facing the fishing port, we could see the sunrise and the illumination of the Kesennuma Bay Crossing Bridge.There are many things within walking distance, so it's easy to stroll around, but there are few street lights, and there are some places that are so dark at night that you can't see the curb under your feet, so it's best to have a light when you go out at night.
