After climbing the mountain, I took a bath and it was a pleasant hot spring.

The food and the quality of the hot springs were both good.As others have written, I do feel that there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. Also, I would like the electric kettle in the guest room to be fixed as soon as possible. When I pressed the hot water supply button, the temperature setting changed (I pressed the button several times and the hot water came out properly), but it was also difficult to get hot water out.

I was unable to pay by credit card. I was only 1,000 yen short, so I went down to Kusu and transferred money from Oita Bank. When I said, ``So I can't use my card,'' she replied, ``It's written on the application.'' Alternatively, they ask that you pay in advance, so I think those who are going should prepare accordingly. The staff was very kind and even laid out the futon for me. The entire building had not been cleaned, and a washing machine was placed in the open-air hallway.

Although it is a bit far from Kagoshima, it is a hot spring that you should definitely stop by when you go mountain climbing in Kokonoe.Although it is a hotel, you can stop by and use it. I am very impressed that I was able to reserve various open-air baths for private use. However, please note that during busy times, you may not be able to enter everything!

Used during the Obon holidays. The area around the reception, cafeteria, and shop seemed cluttered. The guest room, which was probably a Japanese-style room converted into a Western-style room, was spacious, but I was surprised at how dirty the carpet was. The toilet has a washlet, but the washroom and room bath seem to have been used quite a bit. The changing room in the public bath was so dirty that I didn't feel like entering it again, so I used the public bath the next morning. It was a shame because the Obon price was quite expensive.
