During my trip during the rainy season, I stayed at Socchi no O-heya, a rental villa type hotel, thinking it would be a nice place to spend a relaxing time.Yufu-dake right in front of you, the chirping of birds, encounters with deer, and the whole wilderness to yourself.Furthermore, in addition to amenities such as pajamas, there were also plenty of facilities such as WiFi, smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, etc. to make your stay comfortable in the room.I had the best holiday ever, even more than I had imagined.For dinner, we had a hearty hand-kneaded hamburger set at the CAFE, and for breakfast, we enjoyed a delicious morning-style breakfast made with homemade bread while relaxing in our room.Next time, I would like to go to the open-air bath and look at the starry sky outside of the rainy season.

It's a really wonderful inn. Thank you for staying with us for 3 nights. Due to various circumstances, I couldn't make it to the hotel, so I called and they came to pick me up. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. Originally, I had planned to go to Beppu Yufuin, but I ended up staying at Tsukahara Plateau unplanned because I was satisfied with the quality of the accommodation and the nearby Tsukahara Onsen Crater Spring. The food at the inn is luxurious and really delicious. If the weather is good, you can see a sky full of stars in the open-air bath. There are also wild deer and pheasants. I was moved by being surrounded by nature, having a nice open-air bath, delicious food, and seeing a sky full of stars. The owner, the landlady, is also a very nice person. Thank you very much for your help. Thank you for the wonderful memories. I want to go again. Note: If you decide to stay here, we recommend arriving before it gets dark lol.

I found another nice place to stay. I don't want to tell you directly, but it's ``Erina KUMAGAI BOKUJO'' located in Tsukahara Plateau, up the mountain from Yufuin Yunotsubo Kaido.After walking around Yunotsubo Kaido, I headed towards Tsukahara Plateau, but halfway through I entered a road that made me wonder, ``What? Are we going this way?'', so I was a little nervous for a moment lol. However, the meaning of this inn is precisely because it is located outside of that.Only 3 groups can stay in one day: a villa-type villa with an open-air bath (1 room) and a villa with a loft (2 rooms). This time, we stayed in a single-family villa type that was limited to one group per day.The entire facility feels rather bare, but inside the rooms it's like a different world. Wonderfully stylish. There are plenty of relaxing items such as hammocks, hanging chairs, and kotatsu. You can enjoy your privacy, and from your room you can see Mt. Yufu directly in front of you. Combined with the majesty of Tsukahara Plateau, the view is simply spectacular. The view is spectacular from both the private open-air bath and the open-air bath in your room.You only come into contact with employees during check-in and check-out, and only at mealtimes, so some people may be worried about support, but the rooms are incomparably equipped with everything you need at a regular hostel. There are no situations where you have to contact your employees. Normally, there are small refrigerators, but this one has a large refrigerator that can be used at home, and it is possible to refrigerate large quantities of drinks and desserts. There was a wireless Wi-Fi router in the room, and the speed was perfect.There are open-air baths and indoor baths, and the indoor bath is spacious and has a great view. A big plus is that there is a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, and by pairing it with my smartphone I was able to play music with good sound while enjoying a bath. Of course the open-air bath had a nice view, and I was able to relax in the bathtub and refresh my mind and body in the magnificent view.The meal seems to have several courses, but we chose the ``charcoal-grilled local chicken and wagyu beef'' plan. Enjoy it at the charcoal grill corner inside the facility. It seems that it was a special menu only for this accommodation plan, but we had an aperitif, a dish made by the landlady (the potato salad was really delicious!), carpaccio, meat, rice balls, and dessert. I was fully satisfied with the course dishes alone, but it seemed like I could also order additional meat and other menu items. Personally, the fact that the draft beer was Sapporo was a big plus. For the main meat, the beef was very clean, juicy and delicious, and the local chicken had just the right texture and was very satisfying. While we were eating, a wild deer came outside and we enjoyed it.There are two beds. The third person has to draw their own futon, but I was told to ``pull it up wherever you want'', so I like the freedom of ``use it as you like in a rental vacation home''. When the sun goes down, it becomes pitch black, so you can see the stars clearly. I wanted to take some pictures, but the moon was so bright that it was difficult to see the stars! Even so, the winter constellations were clearly visible.For breakfast, a cafe menu such as freshly baked bread, vegetables, yogurt, and soup will be brought to your room. The water is delicious, so the coffee I made with it was also delicious.It was a wonderful and nice accommodation with no complaints from check-in to check-out. The family I went with also praised the stylish room. However, on the day of the event, there were only 2 reservations, including ours, so I guess it's not that great even though it's such a wonderful place. I'm so worried. They seem to have some great deals on weekdays, so I thought this is one of the inns you should definitely visit at least once.

The cabin is very big, and the things inside are really complete. The barbecue meat for dinner is also delicious. Remember to ask about child seats when bringing young children. The boss is very kind. The important thing is that the open-air hot spring is really a good experience. It is recommended to soak in it in the morning and evening. , recommended for foreign tourists
