My body gets itchy when I lie on the bed without a screen door or air conditioner. If you don't really like trains, there's no need to force yourself to stay overnight.

I use it for camping⛺. The camping site is spacious and easy to use. The building is old and the toilets are from the trains. I think there are people who like it and people who hate it. There is a Goemon bath and a wood-burning bath. Recommended for people who enjoy boiling a bath using firewood.

Beautiful location, delicious dinner but the pillow was comparable to a small bag of rice. It was so uncomfortable I just couldn't sleep. The sheets were uncomfortable too and the room was a little dirty. Still a very charming place to stay. I'd come again only if i brought my own pillow

I stayed here for mountain climbing in the Kokonoe Mountains. It is a quiet place surrounded by beautiful air and mountains, accommodation in converted train cars, and a campsite. The clean water that comes out from the tap is drinkable, and apparently it comes from a spring that the owner and his wife found themselves. There are also many hot spring facilities nearby. I'm so confused about which one to go to.The owner's mother was a very friendly person and told us a lot about the greatness of Kokonoe. Photos of the wonderful scenery of Kokonoe taken by yourself are lined up at the reception desk. Since I am also a nutritionist, I can also order a full breakfast, mountain climbing bento, and dinner (reservations required in advance).Kokonoe has many charms that can be enjoyed throughout the year that Aso does not have, and I would like to visit again in winter ❄️☃️🏔️⛷️🏂✨✨

It might be a good idea to think of a permanent tent as a lodging freight car⁉️Make a reservation with dinner (BBQ photo) included, check in at a nearby hot spring.Depending on the wagon room, the toilet may be far away, so if you want to drink alcohol in the wagon room, it's best to reserve a spot near the restroom. It started raining during the campfire, so I couldn't see the moon or stars, so I'm thinking of coming back on a sunny day.The temperature in the morning is about 15°.

It was a pretty nice place where you could see a sky full of stars. There was a free campfire only on Saturdays, and it was lovely to see the mom lighting the fire. The best thing about the Goemon bath was to light the fire and boil it ourselves.I will definitely go again ☆

I had booked a room in a freight car for the final night of my 3-night, 4-day solo trip, but due to circumstances, I was unable to stay in the freight car and was given a separate private room. The homely feeling of the owner and his wife, the unrealistic nature of the space that you can't experience in daily life in the city, and the cost performance, the facilities and equipment felt a little old, but for me it was the best solace. I did it! Thank you very much for your consideration. However, to be honest, I think there is a clear distinction between likes and dislikes. I think. Personally, I would like people to stop making evaluations that ignore the personality of the owner and his wife, the natural beauty, cost performance, etc.

I have used it several times over the past few years. The owner is very friendly and the environment is nice. I'm also happy to receive a hot spring discount ticket 😌
