We got more than we expected. We were received as if we had known each other for years.The location is surprising! You walk about 70 meters to your accommodation via a steep path. Once you get there you suddenly find yourself, in peace, in the middle of the jungle. There are several houses there where the host and his family members live.The accommodation was new, clean and luxurious with different rooms and a kitchenette and music system. We were provided with breakfast and because there is no restaurant nearby, we also received dinner. All very tasty!

+ It's a nice place in the mountains, a little away from the road and Gede and Putu looked after us well and provided us with everything we needed. We learned a lot about life in the region and nature. There are many beautiful waterfalls nearby. Gede is a guide who took us to special places that we could enjoy in peace. We even had a purification ritual at an undisturbed waterfall and were able to accompany Gede and Putu into the temple. Gede also gives great massages.- We like to do our own thing, which is a bit difficult there because Gede and Putu offer an all-round carefree package, which is difficult to refuse. It was also difficult for us to estimate the prices for the hike and food because the payment is left to the guest.

Villa kubu in Gitgit is by far one of the most tranquil places I have ever visited. The serenity and calm of the natural environment are truly unmatched. Gede is an amazing guide and caretaker and will move mountains to treat you as part of his family. He's very knowledgeable of all the best places to visit in the North and always gives the best. The accommodations are spacious and are a quiet recluse away from the busy South of Bali. Finally but not least Gede and his lovely wife putu really make you feel at home in the jungle tops and truly make you feel like you are a part of their family. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing and authentic Bali homestay near the lush waterfalls of Gitgit. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back many times. 5/5 stars

One of the best places I've ever had. Mr. Gede, Mrs. Putu and all of their family were really nice and kind person, I got a new family. They are so warm, and they always give their best from a place to stay that exceeds expectations, the food is so delicious and healthy. I feel like home. I will stay in this place if I go around there for sure. And if you want to explore the area over there, Mr. Gede is the right person for that. Your trip will be so enjoyable and it will even be difficult for your heart to leave that place. Thankyou so much

We first met Gede five years ago during our initial visit to Bali when we visited the Gitgit Waterfall. We were fortunate enough to have him as our guide, and he was so exceptional that we ended up booking him for a week-long tour around the island. We've stayed connected through Facebook ever since, so when we returned to Bali, we knew we wanted to visit him again—this time staying at his beautiful villa.Villa Kubu GitGit is a lovely two-bedroom homestay nestled in the peaceful mountains. The rooms are spacious, with a cozy living area and a well-equipped kitchenette. Gede’s warm hospitality was as genuine as ever, and this time we had the pleasure of meeting his wife and children. His wife is not only incredibly kind but also a phenomenal cook. She prepared all our meals during the stay, and I can honestly say her nasi goreng is the best I've ever tasted.Before we left, Gede guided us to three stunning waterfalls we hadn't seen during our last visit. Each one was breathtaking, especially the one with the swing! If you're in the area and seeking a tranquil mountain retreat, I highly recommend Villa Kubu GitGit. Be sure to explore the waterfalls with Gede—it’s an experience you won’t forget!

Each day, Gede prepared delicious meals for us, and his willingness to go above and beyond was truly appreciated.Gede also organized a fantastic dolphin trip for us. The experience was unforgettable, as we enjoyed a leisurely pace without feeling rushed. Additionally, Gede took us on an incredible trek to see five waterfalls, sharing a wealth of information along the way. Our hosts Gede and Putu were lovely. We felt at home with them. The house is in the jungle. We were able to cook with Pitu. Gede was a great guide during an excursion to discover the waterfalls. We discovered a lot of things off the beaten track. We were alone in the jungle.

Fantastic time spent here with hosts Gede and Putu and their family. Gede will organise amazing activities, for example canyoning and dolphin watching, and he and Putu are wonderful cooks. The location is amazing. Essential for an authentic Balinese experience.

Astungkara, Praise God, Alhamdulillah, I found this villa on Google Maps as God gave me a new family. Paul and theydot and their family are very kind. When we got there we were picked up because the location was a bit inland from the side of the road where a shortcut will soon be built in front of the villa. Served hot tea and a very delicious dinner. In the morning we prepared breakfast and then went to explore the waterfall in the villa area accompanied by Theydot, who also has a noble profession as a guide who helps people to travel. After returning from the waterfall, we cooked an extraordinarily delicious lunch. The room is very large with a living room and toilet with hot water. If you want to go to a waterfall in the Git Git area, you have to stay 2 nights because there are lots of beautiful waterfalls and you feel comfortable staying with good people. Thanks Paul and Theydot and family, I will be back.

This is the second time I have been there and am very honored and fortunate to return to Gude and Putu, along with their children. It is a nice place up in the hills in nature. The rooms are comfortable and the service along with the hospitality is incredible. I went to several waterfalls and did plenty of trekking Through the Jungle. There is canoneering available and highly recommendable to anyone interested. There are many activities and I will definitely be looking forward to coming back soon🙏💞🙏‼️

What a beautiful and amazing place to stay. Feels like you are in the middle of the jungle! Nice and quiet. Very friendly people who can also show you the most beautiful places and waterfalls on the island.
