I spent New Year's here.We were a family of five, and we were assigned a room that was probably a former banquet hall. Speaking of its size, it can accommodate over 30 people. It was really spacious. However, the hotel has a dark feel overall, giving the impression that it is a Showa era accommodation facility. To put it simply, it's retro. Perhaps because of that, it didn't feel a bit clean. It's close to the sea and there are many restaurants nearby, so you won't have to worry about anything. There is also a parking lot nearby so there is no problem.Although it was close to the main street, I didn't hear any noise, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.At this time, we could not use the open-air bath due to maintenance, but the hot spring with floating yuzu leaves has a nice atmosphere. The spring temperature is high, but once you get used to it, it's not a problem. The whole family was relaxing from their travels.Although the hotel doesn't have any special services, I was satisfied with the last stay of my trip because I was able to relax. My only regret is that it would have been great if we could have used the open-air bath. The staff are all very attentive, so even if I had trouble finding parking, they came out to the front of the hotel and kindly guided me around.

The bath is large and close to the sea, so the view is wonderful. There is a parking lot for rental cars, and there is a bus stop called Kitahama nearby for buses from the airport. Is there Yume Town, Donki, or Tokiwa nearby? There is a large commercial facility, and it is a hotel with an old Taisho romantic feel. The interior, including the furniture, is a highlight. The breakfast bread was small, but they provided extra bread, which was helpful.

This is a review of the hot spring because I stopped by and used the hot spring.Bathing fee: ¥700, free lockers available for valuables, towels and amenities provided.Parking was available at a nearby contract 🅿.I heard that the museum is closed on certain days, so I think it would be safer to inquire about the opening hours and other information. This time it was only an indoor bath, but I was able to take a relaxing bath as it was reserved for private use.If I have a chance, I would also like to take a bath in the open-air bath.

I think you can think of the bathroom as just a public bath. The location is so goodIt's friendly and it's an old building, so it feels strangely like sleeping in a museum.

I used it on my trip! The pressure of the hot spring shower was quite weak. I don't think it was broken, but there was no hot water in the shower at all, so I was talking to my family about what was wrong. However, the location is good and there are shops within walking distance, so I didn't have any problems in that aspect!I also like the retro feel of the room.

The location was good and the room was good, but the service was very friendly after everyone left. They helped me by hailing a taxi, bringing me a tourist map while I was waiting, and even using a translator! Bring me the coffee yourself...I unintentionally arrived early and had to check in early, but I was grateful that they accepted it willingly. If you want to experience Japanese omotenashi, I highly recommend this place!

The building is very old (built in 1963, apparently renovated in 2013)However, it has been carefully cleaned, key areas have been renovated, and antiques have been placed in a good manner. Considering the age of the hotel, there is little discomfort with the building. Because it's old, I felt an indescribable eerie feeling at night when there weren't many people around. The atmosphere of the staff is very good, the location is right near Beppu Tower, and there are convenience stores nearby. The public bath was very comfortable and the room was clean and had the smell of tatami mats.Again, the building is very old, so it might not be a good hotel for clean-minded people who are concerned about the details, but I personally recommend it because it's cheap.

When I entered with no expectations due to the old exterior, it felt like I had traveled back in time to the Taisho or early Showa eras, and there were many items that could be valuable cultural properties, from …
