Minowa Onsen Nagataso in Kamiina, Nagano Prefecture. (202408F)Stopped in to get a dumb card. A hot spring inn at the foot of the mountain. The lobby is spacious and looks like an old Western-style building. The information about the inn said that it was ``retro-modern with a somewhat nostalgic and calming feel,'' and it was exactly as I expected. The hot springs are sodium bicarbonate hot springs with a smooth texture, and there are three baths you can enjoy. There is also a hot spring facility for day trips. While touring around the dam, you will come to a place that looks like a hidden hot spring inn. This inn also has a very nice atmosphere, including the surrounding environment. If I had the time and money, I would like to spend the day relaxing in a hot spring at an inn like this.

I visited there to receive a dam card for Minowa Dam. The woman at the reception came to the entrance and handed it to me. It was impressive that it was located on a hill and had a good view. Next time I would like to use it on a trip with my family.

The hot springs are a bit lukewarm, but will warm your body in a short amount of time.The rooms are clean and comfortable.The food is standard Kaiseki cuisine. The indoor bath feels a little small, but you can use the adjacent day-trip hot spring facility, so it's not a problem (it can get crowded depending on the time)

You can take a bath in the Nagata hot water, and the atmosphere is calm and nature is wonderful. I took my mothers there and they were very happy. I remember that the room was spacious and new.However, the payment and accommodation costs are high. I think people coming from the city will be very happy.
