This is hands down one of my favourite dive resorts. I did 22 dives over 10 days and got a lot better diving with Cathrin (the owner of the resort and the dive instructor, should you do a course). The conditions in Permuteran and Menjagan are a lot better than in Tulemben or the Padang Bai/ Nusa Penida area, mainly there are no crowds of divers, secondly the currents are predictable, and there are no large swells. It’s a beautiful area with a variety of sites. Great for beautiful, epic coral walls and fascinating muck diving. Cathrin has an artistic eye and brought us to beautiful spots in Menjagan with epic back lit crevices and caves and coral overhangs. We also did a number of muck dives with her where we found many special creatures, including the Lembeh sea dragon. If you’re interested in underwater photography she is definitely the guide to go with. The Kuda Laut bungalows also has a camera charging station for serious photographers.As the conditions are mostly quite calm it’s easy to put the BCD on in the water which I like. A number of the good dive sites are also shore dives on sandy shore so the entries are easy.The resort itself is a wonderful and relaxing get away tucked away in nature. We often finished the dives by lunchtime and it was always nice chilling and doing nothing in Kuda Laut.The chef also did really tasty, healthy vegan food with local, fresh vegetables and tempeh, which is something I really appreciated. For dinner, the local warungs were also able to deliver vegan dishes to the resort.

Perfect location for divers and snorkelers and everyone who wants to become one. Cathrin has created a great little resort with great attention to detail and is supported by a very nice, attentive team.We felt very comfortable. Fully deserved 5 stars.

Great place to stay if in pemuteran. The owner Cathrin is super active and provide everything one might need. The rooms are great, with a mezzanine for reading and chilling and an outdoor bathroom so you're in sync with nature.The diving experience is also great. Cathrin is a great instructor you feel her great experience and you immediately feel confident.Overall everything was great including the freshness of the breakfast.

Stay; 2 adults and an 8-year-old child. Diving and relaxation. Bungalows located in a beautiful garden, next to the swimming pool. Breakfast included in the price - delicious. For lunch and dinner we went to nearby restaurants (3 minutes walk), the food was great and cheap. You can also order delivery. The facility is managed very professionally, the owner is Mrs. Cathrin, a very nice and helpful person. Bungalow large and clean. Diving is a dream - either from the shore or from a boat. Everything perfectly organized. 2 minutes walk there is a spa with great massage. An hour of Balinese massage costs only PLN 25.We recommend this resort, great rest and relaxation combined with diving at the highest level. Very nice staff.

Very well-kept complex under German management with a beautiful garden, lovingly designed 2-story bungalows, extremely friendly staff, and an attached diving center. The dark sand-gravel lava beach can be reached on foot in just a few minutes, and the diving boat also starts from there

This place deserves much more than 5 stars! Beautiful, very clean and spacious bungalows with a lovely garden and pool. Everything is made with so much love and Cathrin and the amazing staff made me feel at home and part of the family every day.Also if you want to learn to dive or do a fun dive this is the place to go. They know how to take away your fears as a beginner and making it fun with their patience and experience.I highly recommend this place (also because the area is less touristy than other places on bali) can’t wait to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay, the owner is delightful and extremely knowledgeable about marine life. The resort grounds and pool are an oasis after a long international flight. Our bungalow was huge and stylish with an upstairs hang out area with high airy ceilings, we loved it. The woman who cooks is really talented, breakfast is great. Good restaurant nearby with Thai dishes for a change of pace.The diving around nearby Menjangan Island is underrated and has nice walls with soft coral and fans. Didn't want to leave and we'll definitely go back

It's a nice place to stay if you want to go diving in pemuteran. But in months close to new year the wind will be very strong that the crumble from the roof will often falls to bed and all over the room.But the staff is very friendly and helpfull, the food is delicious too but if you want something else, you can order food from warung setia (all their food are delicious)

What a good time we hadCathrin our host went out of her way to organize the most memorable diving trip for us. The bungalow is large and comfortable with an upstairs terrace.The whole team takes great care of your stay. Special mention for the homemade jams at breakfast. Truly an excellent memory.Thanks again
