The hotel has good hot water and good food, but it was a rarity these days because it didn't accommodate vegetarians or people with allergies. With so many inbound foreign tourists, it seems like an anachronism that Hakuba, a popular and competitive place, cannot accommodate vegetarians. It's a shame because the people at the hostel were so kind.

2024.7 The quality of the hot springs at a suitable temperature, the creative cuisine made with home-grown vegetables, the cleanliness of the facility, and the location are all excellent. In fact, one morning when it was raining quite a bit, I witnessed a landlady wearing a kappa come back from the field with vegetables, and I was impressed.

I’m a foreigner and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights to do a day hike on Mt.Karamatsu. It was a very enjoyable stay as the food was very delicious and fresh, you can tell they put in thoughts in designing the menu. The room was very clean and smell very good tatami. The hot spring water offered the perfect temperature, it relaxed me after a long day of hiking. I want to thank all the friendly staffs.

I stayed here in preparation for walking the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and heading towards Happo Pond the next day. It's a small inn, but the staff are always smiling and nice.I felt that the hot springs and food were attractive at this inn! There is no open-air bath and it is not a large bathtub, but it is a hot spring with strong alkaline water! I was able to heal my body after hiking! Very satisfied!Breakfast mainly consists of seasonal vegetables. The menu is carefully prepared and takes advantage of the flavors of the ingredients. The information file in the room was handmade and had all the information I wanted, including details about the food and information about the hot springs in the area!

It was a regular hostel I had been going to for many years, but I felt like I had lost my passion after the coronavirus. Dinner and breakfast are still great, but the small, yet pleasing touches that I used to feel are gone.I used to think that there were no accommodations that were better than this one, but as I traveled around and felt the rut of recent years, I found many other accommodations that I wanted to cherish even more. It's a wonderful inn that serves delicious food even in this day and age, but I feel sad knowing that I may never go there again.Thank you for your support over the years. Please continue to be a wonderful inn.

I use it when I go fishing at Elm Pond. I was very satisfied with the quantity and quality of dinner. It goes well with the Japanese sake set Dry Samadhi ¥800. …
