Villa Manuk...my little paradise in Bali and for me now like “coming home” to a typical Balinese cultural landscape surrounded by rice fields! The small, very nice complex offers me everything I need for very relaxing days away from touristy Bali: a small selection of different comfortable rooms, although I prefer the upper floor in the bamboo house, a pool fed with spring water that invites you to really swim , a very well-kept tropical garden, very attentive staff who fulfilled my every wish and a varied, delicious and inexpensive breakfast and dinner menu.In and around Villa Manuk I can be one with nature, with the unvarnished and authentic Balinese culture that lives in the area, and with the warm people who live there. And just a few kilometers away are the Skumpul Waterfalls, an absolute highlight in Bali.I can hardly find more Bali!

We had two wonderful days in Villa Manuk and arrived here after a Sekumpul tour. A quiet oasis in the middle of the mountains and rice fields with super-friendly staff. …

Villa Manuk is a small paradise in the middle of the highlands in northern Bali. Far away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the well-known places, surrounded by jungle, mountains and rice fields, it is a wonderful, magical place to let go and find peace... to just let your mind wander. The “Robot” team creates a warm and familiar atmosphere and supports you with program design and excursions. The owner's aunt cooks very tasty and typically Balinese dishes. A massage is available upon request and a dip in the pool is wonderfully refreshing. We had wonderful days and would love to come back!!!

The hotel is secluded and beautifully located. From the pool and from our hotel room we could see the rice fields and the adjacent mountains - a dream! …

An absolutely recommended idyll! We were upstairs in the house on the right with a fantastic view of rice fields and the almost jungle. The people are super friendly - you can tell that they are happy about the visitors. The food is also an absolute highlight (nowhere else can you get such good Balinese food as you can here). From our point of view, there is only one drawback for us European guests - the lack of air conditioning (but that is a complaint at a high level, as it gets noticeably cooler at night and there is a fan in the room).I recommend everyone who comes to Bali to spend a few days in Villa Manuk - you can't get such idyll and natural peace (yes you can hear animals and also local ceremonial music - which we thought was great) anywhere else. Many thanks to the manager and all the other staff.English version (translated by deepl):An absolutely recommendable idyll! Spectacular villa in a magical setting. Very quiet because there are only two houses with two floors of one room each. In the middle of fields and palm trees and quite isolated from crowds. If you want to disconnect, this is your place.

We loved the bungalows. Furthermore, the semi-open bathroom to the outside is a very pleasant experience. A perfect place to disconnect and enjoy incredible views. Access to the waterfalls is a 40-minute walk away, I would recommend taking a taxi. The pool was not very clean, but the views from it are incredible and the surrounding town is also very authentic.

We didn’t expect that place will be so beautiful (it was a bit difficult to find a place after sunset) the surroundings, mountains, well -groomed garden, a loot of flowers and trees. The staff proposed to serve a breakfast near a room and it was veeery lovelyIf you are travelling here by bike it’s better to choose a “route for cars” because some paths are very difficult for bikes
