During the September holidays, I stayed at a cottage type hotel. It was my first time to try a cottage type, but was it moldy? I was really worried about the unique smell. However, it was close to the outlet, the food was delicious, and I was provided with transportation from the reception to the cottage, so I felt a little superior. The staff was very responsive and I thought it was a Prince Hotel type hotel. If you're going to stay in Karuizawa, it's definitely a Prince Hotel type hotel.

I stayed in a cottage. It's very clean for a cottage, but the plumbing is pretty bad, and there are insects that get into the bedroom, so I thought it would be a good idea for people who don't mind that. I didn't have a car this time, but it was close to the station and there was a bus that went around the Prince grounds, which was very convenient for going to the station, outlet, and nearby shops. The restaurant was also delicious. The hot springs at the hotel cost 2,000 yen per person for guests, which I thought was expensive, but it was nice because it wasn't crowded.

I stayed at East. The twin room has a nice smell of the forest. The hot spring was a slimy type of hot spring that was soothing. The facility is also kept clean.I ate shabu-shabu in the basement, and the meat was excellent. The sesame sauce with walnuts was unusual and delicious.

I used it during my summer vacation. A year ago, I used the West Cottage and was very satisfied with the facilities, so this time I chose the East Cottage. As a result, I personally don't like cottages... I think it's quiet and relaxing, but I was concerned about the peculiar smell. I guess this is what a cottage is like, but I was so anxious that I couldn't sleep very well. Karuizawa Prince itself is a wonderful facility, so I'd like to go there again, but I don't think I'll choose a cottage in the future.
