The location of the accommodation in Munduk is very convenient, located less than 15/20 minutes walk from the waterfall route, which is ideal for exploring the area. However, at night the wind was particularly strong, making it difficult to sleep, especially with the shower open letting noise in. The shutters were slamming and the sounds of scooters on the road could also be heard from the room. For those looking for a quiet place to sleep, this might be something to consider.

I really didn't expect it, I swear I didn't expect it to be as good as this calm and comfortable. At first I didn't have high expectations because of the 4.0 reviews on Google Maps, but when I arrived I really didn't expect it to be this good and this comfortable.Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, clean pools. When it comes to views, it's really the best.There's no loss in ordering 8 rooms for yesterday's holiday, it's really worth it, it's sure to become one of your favorite accommodations that you have to come back to in the future.

Strong points of the hotel: the view is magnificent, the area is very beautiful, the staff is friendly and you will have a golden opportunity to strengthen ties forever with your partnerWeak point: in two nights, in two different rooms, two different ranges and well:both rather dirty, poorly insulated, old and full of insectsIn itself, the local fauna is not dangerous, your life is not in danger.This may suit the more adventurous, but you can also spend a long night reassuring your partner and urgently booking a taxi and a hotel in a busier region with more Western standards.The hotel is under construction, perhaps in a few years it will improve because it has a lot of potential.Thanks all the same to the hotel staff who did what they could.Erratum: in the second photo, it is not a fancy tiling, after a spray of insecticide that the staff kindly lent us for the night, a swarm of insects fell from the wooden ceiling: midges? Termites? I do not know more.

The view is magnificent, of course.The location in relation to the center of the city is interesting.On the other hand, the steps leading to the rooms are extremely steep and absolutely impassable for people with disabilities or reduced mobility: we have already had difficulty being two young women with our backpacks. The photo shows the last steps to our room: the banisters of the stairs reached my feet.The rooms were extremely damp (large stains on the walls and the sheets smelled of damp). The toilet paper rolls and soap had not been changed: we had what previous guests were kind enough to leave for us.Finally, the staff is not very friendly apart from an old gentleman who was very attentive in the evening!

The reservation included minibar, tv, wifi, towels.. but they lie to us, and no solutions provided.We have the worst lunch in Bali, I’m not even sure how old were the food.. with ants and mosquitos, really dry and tough.We came to the rooms and the towels where smelly, the bed sheets where still wet, side tables light doesn’t work, bathroom with weird distribution and smell.Wifi is really bad 0-4mb speed.The only thing that i liked was the view from the balcony, but is like every other place in here. So I wouldn’t recommend at all this place.The picture that I uploaded is not with all the ants and mosquitoes that i take from that particular plate, sadly I couldn’t take more from all the plates.

I’ve been coming to Munduk for 30 years and to Puri Alam for about 15 years. If you appreciate beauty then this place is one of the best accommodations in probably the most beautiful part of Bali. When you wake you should get the view - if it’s clear - of the three dormant volcanos. You can climb them also if you have the time. The area has lots of hikes. You could easily spend a week here. Though a warning. It’s probably also the wettest parts of Bali

The air of fading grandeur only adds to the charm of this delightful hotel. Perched on a ridge just above ‘central Munduk’ (actually just a row of shops), it has gorgeous views across the valley to the sacred peak of Gunung Batukau. Rooms 2 and 4 were real classy though I’m told not all the rooms are up to the same standard, so best check first. They take credit cards: pretty useful as there is no ATM or bureau de change in Munduk. The pool is a bit old and the breakfast uninspiring but the prices and the vibes are just right.

Good location if you take a route through the mountains of Bali!!!The views are spectacular, especially from the pool.There is no air conditioning, although we had not used it, perfect temperature in August, even with a sweater at night.I am surprised by the cleanliness, the best I have seen during a month traveling through Bali.Good service, kind and friendly.Very weak breakfast… Something to improve to achieve the fifth star!

The rooms are clean, cool even without AC, the prices are also quite cheap. And the view from the balcony of the room is really good... it's just a shame that the parking lot is really small. Maybe it only fits 3 cars. And the location is right on the hill. It's also a bit scary when you want to get in and out. Luckily the road was quite quiet
