I made a reservation on short notice in the middle of Obon, so the price was a bit high! The hot spring water was thick and felt good on my skin! There was also an open-air bath inside the room, but it was a similar hot spring! There was a river in front of the room, which was perfect for letting the kids play.

I stayed here as part of the Secret Hot Springs Protection Association's tour of Japan's three most beautiful hot springs.I chose a room with a private bath. The hot water is clear and odorless, but I was surprised at how warm it was the moment I entered the water. It feels like you're in a lotion with slippery hot water. After applying it, the moisturizing effect was amazing, and although I usually have dry skin and tend to produce oil on my face, my face remained moist and smooth without any stickiness. This is the first time I've seen so much efficacy from a hot spring alone. As expected, it is a beautiful hot spring. The food was better than I expected and one of the best among the Secret Hot Springs Protection Association. The staff were all very friendly and hospitable, and the hot water, food, and service were all good. It's a somewhat unexplored place, so it's difficult to get to, but the river views along the way are amazing, and I'm sure I'll come back here again.

Discovered by a wanderer 1200 years ago. It has a history of being opened as a hot spring resort by Kobo Daishi, and was even visited by the imperial family. The quality of the water is radium and alkaline springs, leaving your skin smooth. Great to stop by on a tour or as an adult on a leisurely trip. Good It's not crowded, but it's an old hot spring.I bought 20L of hot spring water on the way home as a souvenir.
