However, since it is located near the top of the mountain, the temperature is approximately 5 degrees Celsius lower than on the flat ground, so please be aware that there is a risk of frozen roads and snow accumulation in the winter. In addition, it is necessary to take sufficient measures against the cold.On that day, I visited "MIMA Illumination 2022", which will be held for the first time this year. The pyramid-shaped tree with the motif of Mt. Three Heads was made using approximately 70,000 LED lights and was extremely beautiful, lighting up and flashing in various colors, creating a fantastical sparkle in the grounds.This illumination was planned and opened by local residents with the slogan ``Illumination that lasts for 10 years'', and the illuminations that sparkled in the clear mountain air were a special sight that could not be experienced in the flatlands, and was unique to this place. . In addition, if there is a risk of frozen roads, the lights will be canceled, so please check the "MIMA Illumination 2022" "Instagram" in advance to see if the event will be held. Also, this year it will be held for a total of four days, which is extremely rare for an illumination event.

It was beautiful overall. The cooking utensils and cooking environment were perfect, as expected from a former school. I was concerned that the toilet was smelly. The child's futon was brought in, so I would like something to be done about it. It felt further away in the mountains than I expected. Depending on the weather, it was so foggy that I was worried whether I would be able to return home. There's also a gymnasium, so even if it rains, we can play together and do sports, which was fun. You can also play table tennis and basketball. The school gym itself. It was beautiful. There are no convenience stores nearby, so it's better to stock up on things before you go. The barbecue area was comfortable and clean, with desks and chairs available for use.

This accommodation facility is located in a renovated elementary school that was closed down. Although the location is in the mountains, it is well maintained and clean. The school itself was completed in 1993, so the building itself is relatively new. The gymnasium and schoolyard are great places for children to play, and you can also try your hand at barbecuing or making pizza. There seems to be only a shower, but the bath is less than 10 minutes away by car, and they will give you a 100 yen discount coupon for the hot spring facility ``Epia Mikado'' inside the Kotonami roadside station. A fully equipped kitchen is also available for use free of charge. A facility I would like to visit again.
