It was a wonderful staying experience in a traditional Japanese house.1.The lady boss speaks english well, and I overheard that she speaks fluent Korean with guests.2.Do make an appointment with your check in time, the staff aren’t always around.3. It’s a traditional Japanese house with tatami, the doors can’t be locked. You can refer it as a private room in a hostel that was separated by thin walls. Therefore, sound proof was pretty bad, I can hear people talking from upstairs.4. Facility; The shared bathroom was large and clean, it came with shampoo and body wash too; There were hair driers available for everyone to use in their room; for my room, there was only one electric outlet with 3 sockets. But there was no shared fridge; There were washing machine (300 yen for one time) and dryer (200 yen for one time) available to use.5. You can reserve breakfast from the house, the hand made dish by the lady boss was delicious and heartwarming!

Traditional Japanese house, without luxury but comfortable. A stone's throw from the port, to reach Uno or Naoshima. Possibility of renting electric bikes (essential!) to reach the other end of the island where the Modern Art Museum is located, and the archives of the heart which are really worth it.

Three of us stayed here on a graduation trip.To my surprise, there were no other customers, and the entire building was reserved. We played board games on the kotatsu and chatted until late at night, feeling like we were visiting grandpa's house! The futon was soft and I slept soundly. It felt so good! There are almost no shops on Teshima, which is inconvenient, but the stars looked really beautiful at night and the quietness of the place was soothing. There was also a rented breakfast venue nearby, and it was fun to walk around in the cool air.The breakfast that my sister made was so delicious that I was really glad that I stayed in Teshima.Takamatsuya is recommended! !

It feels like I came to stay at my grandpa's house. The room was separated by a single sliding door, so I was a bit worried about people talking, but it was still fun. The sounds of the garden will soothe your soul. The breakfast was delicious and my body felt energized.

First of all, it's reasonable. It seems that the building, which used to be an inn, is being renovated. There are no keys, just partitions with sliding doors, and it feels like you're at a childhood training camp or staying at a relative's house. It was clean overall. Speech can be heard normally, so please be quiet at night. If you would like to have a lively party at night, we recommend staying elsewhere. The futon was placed on top of the mattress, so it was very comfortable to sleep on. There seems to be a fair amount of insects during the season when insects are active, so if you are not good at it, it might be better to choose a season. The bath, toilet, and washroom were shared.

When we arrived at the inn, he explained to us about restaurants, bicycle rentals, etc. near the inn. Thanks to you, we had a delicious dinner every night! The room, shared bath, toilet, and sink were very clean and comfortable. The light coming in from the window of the inn was so beautiful that I couldn't help but take a photo.Since there are no shops nearby (only for island residents), we recommend making a reservation that includes breakfast. I saw some people who had become refugees for breakfast. We also had seasonal pomelo for breakfast, which was delicious.

The bath is small. Well, I went with a group, so I guess it was inconvenient. The room is separated from the next room by a sliding door, so loud conversations are prohibited.

The BnB looks great (old japanese style house) and not far from the port.Unfortunately I was not able to feel warm welcoming from the owner as same as other places where visited satellite islands in Japan. I feel uncomfortable during my stay in Teshima and no good impression (so so), maybe the first impression was impacted strongly.

When you come to the art season, you must stay here and experience the feeling of tatami.Thank you for this B&B for making my art season trip more perfectBecause of the transportation, being able to live on the island is the best thing.
