I booked a facility in the same area on Airbnb and used it with my family.It was spacious and had 4 beds, and I was able to stay there at a reasonable price while the others were fully booked and I couldn't get one.Since the surroundings were dark, we could actually see the stars at night, which made my family happy.It seems like they are renovating old properties and renting them out, so if you're looking for a shiny new building, you might be disappointed, but if you think about renting an old but spacious and well-maintained villa, it might be a good idea.What about the location? However, when I got there, I found that Tonosho Port and the town are close if you drive, so you can go to an izakaya for dinner, breakfast, go shopping, or take the ferry to Takamatsu. It was also convenient.The main sightseeing spots are also relatively close.

I stayed using a private lodging app.If you follow Google Maps, you will be directed to a different route, so you will need to see for yourself how to get there.A car is required and a small car is recommended as you will have to navigate the narrow roads.The facilities were clean and the cost performance was good and I was very satisfied. The ocean view is also spectacular.

I couldn't get there using my navigation system, and the surrounding area was very scary due to the ruins and overgrown weeds.Only 3 of the 10 buildings are in use, and the others are in ruins and look like haunted spots, so we cannot recommend them.The balcony is about to fall down and there are bees and insects indoors.Is there a lot of mold indoors? There was a peculiar smell like that, and it was unpleasant from beginning to end.When I opened the mini fridge, there was long hair inside which made me uncomfortable.The bathroom also stinks due to the smell coming from the drain.Please note that cancellation is not possible! !

Last time I stayed there, there were all kinds of insects in the room and it was scary. Cicadas and insects with lots of legs. I don't recommend it for people who are afraid of insects, especially in the summer. I thought it was just a place to sleep, but I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and close to the sea.

I booked my stay here through a popular "bnb" app and it was actually better than some of the reviews both here and there led me to expect, and I'd be happy to stay again in the future.It's true that it feels a little dated, and many of the surrounding houses identical to it are dilapidated, but I was here for a camping like experience using the provided campfire equipment that the owners had set up near the unit I was staying at and, as far as that goes, I had a great time.Previous reviewers mentioned the houses weren't very clean and had a bad smell, but the unit I stayed in was fine and didn't seem to smell at all.While the location requires either a car or a taxi from the port, the area is beautiful and you can even access a small and very quiet beach a short 15 min or so walk away. Like other people have mentioned, the directions provided by google maps are slightly wrong - there were signs along the roads quite frequently that told you what turns to take for "IROU" though.The price was comparable to a hotel, but I would prefer to stay at a more private place like this with the beautiful surroundings any time. Overall, great for a traveling couple looking to enjoy nature, but I imagine would not be up to scratch for bigger groups or a family with more complicated needs.
