Beautiful resort right at the ocean. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The perfect place for some peaceful and quiet days.

Amazing location, wonderful staff. So chill our time there. Food was fresh and excellent. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. I cant remeber how many times we have been there, a must for any Bali trip. Absolute paradise, coconut trees, beautiful landscaping and right on the ocean

Oasis of peace by the sea :)The quietest accommodation I have found in the area. All you can hear is the sound of the waves 😌Super nice owners and great staff. 🥰 The other guests were also pleasant.However, you should have a scooter if you don't want to spend the whole time in the resort. (Generally applies to this and the surrounding villages)

A dream stop...a ​​magical and quiet place...everything is there to recharge your batteries. The kindness of Matt & Putu, the kindness of the staff, simply delicious meals and impeccably clean rooms. I recommend the cooking class with Putu and the surfing class with Matt...what a great time. Thank you to both of you and to the whole team. Personally with my family we warmly recommend this magical place

Villa Selina is a very nice place to rest. The rooms are very nice, except the bunk beds don't have fly nets or anything, so I got bitten a few times. The service was also great. The owner is a very nice man and he even taught me and my brother how to surf. He also has a son and a daughter who my brother and I have become really good friends with. The location is simply beautiful. It's not at a loud road and not in a big city. The beach is very nice, but the only thing that bothers me about the beach is that it is a stone beach, but of course there is nothing you can do about that.

Thank you to Putu, Mathew, July and everyone working in this amazing villa. Our stay was wonderfull, this place is truly magical. Perfect for relaxing a couple of days in a luxurious garden by the sea. It was also very clean, the food was good and everyone really nice.Lauréane and Martine

What a nightmare this place was. I hope that people who wrote these wonderful reviews are alive and/or weren’t threatened to write them.To begin with, this place doesn’t have basic needs such as clean rooms. Bathrooms are disgusting, walls are dusty, towels are overly warned like they’ve never been changed since the villa was first opened. Curtains smell like dust. It is very unpleasant to be there.There were only my 3 friends and I staying in the villa at that moment which was very strange to say the least. Owner Matthew wanted to seem like a nice guy with a good hospitality, but turned out to be a monster. He’s threatened me to go to jail simply because I wanted to leave his property. His wife was too emotional to hear what we were trying to explain that we are going to pay cancellation fee. She misunderstood, and thought that we were not going to pay. They don’t take cards because it’s a lot of commission they have to pay to agencies. This is understandable, but you have to be nice about asking for cash, not demand it like they did. When I tried to explain that I was suppose to be charged with US dollars because I was purchasing my stay in the US. Owner was screaming at me saying that I am in Bali, and suppose to pay with Rp. We’ve converted Rp to US dollars, and it happened to be more than I was suppose be charged. I’ve raised my concern, and said that they want more money. I gave up on their audacity, rudeness, lack of business skills, and simply said that my life and energy isn’t worth all that. I said that I’ll give you more money and we’ll leave. The owner pretended to be dying which was very scary. She’s fell very carefully to the ground and demonstrated something that seemed like epilepsy. Matthew came to me very closely, pointed his finger at me, and said: “You are going to jail.” It was scary and overwhelming. His wife got up shortly after like nothing happened.We were rushing to get the hell out of there ASAP because they were kicking us out. We have no idea how this place received so many good reviews, it’s very strange. Matthew called it “Real Bali”. I agree that this is a complete getaway from busy parts of Bali. However, there is the difference between nice getaway and lack of basic needs. When I’ve arrived around 9:30 pm, they didn’t offer any food. Water was in reusable bottle, and they’ve said that it’s safe to drink. No, thank you, I need a sealed bottle of water. There are no stores around. Simply nothing. Avoid this hell at any cost.
