Thank you for staying with me for a week in April last year! The panoramic view of the fishing port from the room soothed me every morning, and the nearby Gotenyama Green Park was a sacred place to take a walk that felt like I was walking through the womb. My friend who lives in Takamatsu City is in the middle of nowhere, but is it okay? I was worried about this, but the location is the perfect place to refresh yourself. You can drive along the coast, enjoy a set meal of fresh seafood at Mure Roadside Station, and the owner of the inn is friendly, so you can spend a relaxing time. I was able to. Thank you very much♪

The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very kind.I would use the hotel again. The sea is about a 5 minute walk away. The morning walk was very pleasant. There are no convenience stores within walking distance, so it's a good idea to buy what you need. There didn't seem to be any drink vending machines nearby, so it's a good idea to come prepared.

This is a very quiet and beautiful place to stay while on Shikoku. The host is very kind, makes a wonderful Japanese breakfast, and is available to pick you up/drop you off at a nearby train station if you need. He drove me to the train station on my check out day and the drive was so beautiful! A wonderful hike Mt Yashima is nearby (20 min by bus) and the host knows of an incredible viewpoint nearby he may be able to take you to. The place is very clean and tatami style beds extremely comfortable and cozy. You wake up with the most beautiful view outside the window! The only con is that this place is a little bit out of the way of the Takamatsu city center. Bus is easy enough - but only comes one time per hour and is about 30-45 minutes into Takamatsu so you’ll have to plan your day accordingly. Last bus in the evening back to the guest house from Takamatsu is around 8 or 8:30.

The last train from downtown is early, but it's worth it. There is a very quiet and beautiful garden. There are many spaces where you can sleep, drink tea, and enjoy yourself in a traditional Japanese tatami room. While drinking tea in the garden, you can have a fantastic experience with birds chirping and butterflies flying around. The dishes were well prepared and the staff was very friendly.

I stayed here 5 years ago and I still think of it constantly. Wish to be back soon! 瀬戸音十庵 was just newly opened and not many guests yet. The owner Ikeda-san could have put other guests in the same room as me (since I booked a shared room) but he opened up a different room for them so all of us could have privacy. My room overlooked the beautiful harbor with a very nice sunset. When I missed my ferry to Naoshima, Ikeda-san drove me to a nearby sightseeing place. He then drove me to the harbor for the next ferry to Naoshima. On another day, we also went for sanuki udon at a popular joint. ありがとうございました!And yes, the breakfast is delicious! Just thought I'd leave this review for the beautiful memories and hopefully I can return soon : )

The toilet and washroom were clean and the dishes and towels that I was allowed to use freely made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast was also polite and delicious, and I think it was a good thing that we got so much for the price.
