I used it for the first time. The reason for this is that the reviews are very good, and I'm sure they were. The bath, food, and room are great.More than that, the customer service from the staff was excellent. Thanks to Mr. Haruta at the front desk and Mr. Nishimura in charge of meals, I was able to spend many times more meaningful time. thank you very much.I will visit you again soon.Hotel New Awaji Group is definitely the place to go.I will continue to use it.

I stayed at Satoyama Hutte Dog Friendly Room with my family and my dog. There were good reviews from people with dogs, so I made a reservation without knowing that I wouldn't be able to eat with my dog.At first, I was a little disappointed because this was the first time I'd ever stayed overnight without having my dog with me. .When I talked to the staff, I found that they were very attentive and helpful, offering me meals together so that I could finish my meal quickly. The food was also as good as the reputation, and I found it difficult to eat slowly. It was a shame. The room where you can stay with your dog is a log house-style Satoyama Hutte up the slope from the main building. It was a little difficult to go up the very steep slope, and I thought it would be slippery if it rained. In the morning, milk is delivered to your room, and the view from your room is surrounded by mountains and is so calm and soothing that you wish you could spend all your time drinking it on the terrace. There are several types of hot springs, and it was a very pleasant and wonderful stay! This inn is highly recommended for families with dogs who want to come back and stay here again, so much so that you will forget all the negative things you thought about not being able to eat with your dog in the first place!

The food was delicious and I was able to enjoy the hot springs while looking at the waterfall. However, I was surprised that some of the staff smelled so bad that I thought they hadn't taken a bath in over a month. When I was being guided by the staff, the smell was so strong that it was a really painful time. I think this is something that an inn that provides comfort should not do.It's a shame because the food and hot springs were good.

It's a remote place with nothing around, but it's home to the mountains of Shikoku, so it's a great place to stay if you're into hiking! The food is delicious and the hot springs are very good. Although it is a New Awaji group inn, it is a truly relaxing inn! Especially the open-air bath is the best😀

You’ll be pampered and taken care of in ways not seen in many places. In many ways this place is a resort, but it has nothing to do with a typical resort.Upon arrival you’re seated in the large room next to the lobby and given every piece of information you’d ever need. Tea and a sweet snack is served. You choose a time for dinner and breakfast - and you’re escorted to your room by the kindest staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. We stayed in the type F room (215). Absolutely perfect. Huge room with two large single beds in one section, tatami mats and couch in another park. On the private terraces facing the beautiful forest a sitting area on one side and a large open air bath with warm water from the spring. Direct access to the shower from outside. An absolute luxury.Meals are a ceremony with the knowledgeable and extremely curious and courteous staff working swiftly and precisely. As a Westerner all the attention and careful procedures take getting used to - it’s so different and special. The food is extremely fresh and local. It’s minimally processed and traditional Japanese with all meals including fish and rice. The menu is set, but changes if you’re there for more than one night. If you have a hard time with raw fish, fish cooked whole (to be eaten whole) and seafood this place will be hard to adapt to. But stay curious and give it a try! For the last breakfast we were given the opportunity to have Western style breakfast. Honestly I’m glad we did to have coffee and bread (although it must be said that my regular breakfast is fruit, oatmeal and Icelandic style skyr and not bread, sweet granola and jams).I still haven’t gotten over how little we paid for three nights in the most amazing room and two meals a day. A recommendation has never been easier to give.Thank you.

I visited 30 years ago and used the hot springs for a day trip. I was surprised that the food was so delicious when I stayed there after it had been renovated. The two-tiered waterfall of the sabo dam was so beautiful with the borrowed view from the open-air bath!

I stayed with my family and one dog.I've stayed at many places, but I think the food here was the most delicious.I was surprised to learn that the pine needle appetizer (pictured) can be eaten entirely with fried somen noodles.Since it was in the mountains in the summer, there were a lot of insects, frogs, and snakes on the walkways (outdoors), but there were no indoors and it was clean. The number of outlets in the room was also good. The staff's customer service was good, and it was an inn that made me want to stay again.
