I went with my family. This is a bit of a harsh review. Because it's a totally good place. The building is from the Showa era, so I don't think you should have high expectations for the building. Unless you like Showa era and old buildings. The rooms are well-maintained and clean. Baths are great, but I think the best time is early summer or late autumn. The hot springs are a little lukewarm, but will warm your body. The rice was also great. The game, deer sashimi, and steak were highly praised by the children.

It looks like the facility will be closed soon due to aging facilities.Eating by the hearth was nice.

As everyone's reviews have said, it's a very Showa-style building. I stayed with a friend from my former workplace in February, and at night there was a draft coming in from everywhere. The dishes were made with venison and wild boar, and the final dish was hotou. The seasoning using homemade miso was quite delicious. Recommended for those who want to relax and feel the countryside while enjoying the surrounding scenery. It's also fun to visit the museum while visiting the roadside stations along the way.

The inosine in the pot is said to have been set in a trap by the innkeeper in a nearby plum grove.

The inn feels like the home of a relative in the countryside who will feed you delicious game. Some places are old, and people who have never seen a mansion like this before may feel uncomfortable or scared because they don't know about it.It was a quiet inn where I could eat my fill of wild game and local country food, and I wanted to come back again.

Well, anyway, it's quite a Showa-style inn.Hmm...I don't know...if someone who doesn't know about Showa ryokan stays there, it might be a bit...Although the building is old,I think it would be a lot different if it could be cleaned up a little more. The food was my favorite, and it was so delicious that it felt like I was at my grandma's house in the countryside.By the way, it was hotou nabe.It was delicious with homemade miso.Regarding the bath, I wish there was at least a fan in the changing room. There is a sauna available for a fee, but I didn't have the courage to pay for it. (If anyone has tried it, I would like to hear their impressions. I think I will run out of time by the time it warms up...)It was very quiet at night, which was nice. You can even see fireflies around July...This is a ryokan where you should try your best.
