This place was a major highlight of our trip. After stepping into the reception area, we wished we’d booked more time…after seeing our room we never wanted to leave. The view is astonishing. They include tea, happy hour, breakfast, AND an onsite public and private bathhouse experience. The individuals who work there were very kind and helpful. Triple bonus—they have complimentary shuttle service to Kawaguchiko Station.

This place is really fantastic to relax after a few days in Tokyo. The service is really great. Suitcases are brought to your room, a taxi van is available to take you to the station, and in the lounge you can have a drink and something to eat between certain times. There is a private onsen that you can rent and the view from the room is phenomenal 🤩

I stayed in a special room. I was satisfied with the view of Lake Kawaguchi from my room and bath.Starting with the 100% grape juice welcome drink, the beautiful kaiseki-style dishes are all elaborately designed, delicious, and impressive. All the staff are kind, attentive, and polite. An inn where you can feel the care throughout.I don't usually come across accommodations that I want to revisit, but I would definitely like to visit Rakuyu again.

When I told them that I would be returning to the inn around 9pm to participate in an event, they said, ``Meals must be served at 7pm.'' In the end, dinner was canceled unilaterally. Even if I arrive late due to traffic conditions, will the meal times be strictly adhered to? As I was looking forward to it, I felt very bad.Of course, since then I have stayed at other hotels in the area.

My wife and I are fortunate that we travel extensively and generally stay in 5 star accommodation , consequently we were not expecting anything wonderful . The hotel frontage is fairly shabby but the reception is very pleasant ,. …

We were lucky enough to stay in a beautiful Japanese-style room, complete with an elegant living room and a private Onsen, a true luxury to be enjoyed in privacy. The services offered are simply incomparable: between moments of relaxation like “TEE Time” and “Apéro Time”, everything is included and carefully orchestrated to offer a most pleasant stay.As for the staff, they are simply impeccable. Remarkably kind, their attention to detail and their desire to satisfy every customer need are executed with perfect mastery. This hotel is a real gem where everything is thought of to offer a perfect experience. Absolutely flawless!

The entrance, a very steep narrow slope, is very difficult to find and climbing by car requires some skill. Go ahead, a good effort. Of course, when you arrive it is worth it. …
